I prefer Rob as well, just because he brought new kind of fun and excitement to pba telecasts. We have Randy there for analysis, no need for another guy doing the same, it just gets a bit monotone after while. Rob may not have the knowledge, but he definatelly had a spirit (I loved his passion with "Dr. Gu" in last years WSOB, priceless :) ).
I really like Gary Throne. His analysis are far better from Rob as I refer to "The 4-bagger guy". Rob was nice in terms of bringing excitement, but that wasn't the main point about bowling.
I really felt for Chris. If that kind of stuff happened to me that many times I'd think I'm cursed or something, but the guy works so hard yet something lacks in his mental game, he is either too relaxed or too pressured. He really needs to consult with s.b to help him with his mentality.
I really feel for Chris Barnes....They need to move the finals to another day than Sunday so Chris can win. Chris can not seem to bowl well on Sunday! 8^)
@staflo10 Ive bowled with him before. I asked him if I could throw one of his bowling balls and he said "Why would you want to do that?" What a douche. Where are you getting YOUR information?
@EricSmyth14 Well yes, why would you want to do that? Their balls are like their tools of trade. For some bowlers it's a very sensitive issue if someone else throws their balls. I feel weird repeating balls..
@EricSmyth14 Who said anything about his character? I def. did not.. and it's his bowling balls why WOULD you want to? they are tailored for him. smh..
@Wolfman12395 I prefer Rob Stone. I really enjoyed his pure energy, and he worked VERY well with Pedersen. Sure he could be a goofball at times, but I found him easy to listen to.
Thanks for posting this match as we had to bowl a "double session" on Sunday and I missed this match (no DVR)...love Mike's relaxed approach !

Mika's wife should do something about her eyebrows. She looks like she is constantly surprised.

I liked the new guy. Definitely better than Rob Stone. Gary Thorne added more dignity to the game (IMHO)

So what did you guys think of Gary Thorne? He reminded me of Chris Schenkel a bit, and I kinda liked that.
