I loved this quickstep more than her second one (which also was great and different). I've seen so many quicksteps (on DWTS and other ballroom competitions), this one is my favourite one from DWTS!! Hands down to her. I also thought that she produced the best mambo ever on this competition and her samba was superb! I wish she could show up on this show again and perform something like salsa. She is amazing! I love her dancing. :D

Laila and Melanie are two different people. They are both beautiful black women who were excellent dancers and great partners to Maks. While Laila is funny, has a winning personality and is just as determined as Maks, Mel was great fun and an amazingly quick learner with an outgoing, wonderful personality. From what I could see Maks loved being with both of them. When you have two great friends, why do you have to pick one over the other?

Mel and Maks are both big flirts unlike Laila. Mel is very touchy feely unlike Laila. I've seen other shows and Mel is touchy feeling with of the hosts. She'll get out of chair and go give them hugs and such. I mean, look at Tom Bergeron. Maks said recently that Laila is a more private person and Mel's just someone you can call and go out to lunch with anytime. I think Maks helped Laila express as much of herself that she was willing to do publically.

They are just too cute dancing together. She really made a man out of maxs. She firmed up his muscles. She is God sent. Its so nice to watch real men dancing. He will be hot and ready for another woman next season. Wonderful job Laila!

SHw you how good she is...Maks misjudged the floor distance...notice how he stops the dance with short steps in corner...but she allowed him to do that. She didn't correct him by trying to hold back, which was the proper thing to do. He taught her well.
