I think that Leepu is a great designer and really makes very original designes the only drawback to this show is not really putting so much attention to the mechanical part as they do with the body.. If they take the mechanical part as serious as the rest.. (like Chip Foose does) then the cars in this show would be superb

6" wheel spacers? road testing it by smashing it over potholes? crap cars to begin with like rovers and mondeos don't improve just cos of some fancy paint job. the engines are slow anyway but after adding half a tonne of sheet metal and filler, they gonna be even slower. What happens when u break or crash it? u have to have new panels fabricated. all the mechanics are from scrap factory cars, shockers, gearbox, engines, chassis all scrap. thats why they never sell any cars u cant polish a turd

i cant beleive they got an old beat up rover v8 and dropped it in there muscle cars dont get their power from a fuckin scrap yard that thing will barely hit 160 bhp and with all that weight it will be slow

they do great things at bodywork but not so good at mechanics they have a low budget, its amazing what they do with such low budget, the first i saw chopshop i though it would be like overhaulin mixed with wild creativity by leepu but not stealing the car from a person.
@gardoboy do u even know anything abt muscle cars? The whole point of muscle is get a big engine in there and make the car fit. ie: Dodge viper. The shape of the car is dictated by the size of the engine.

If my girlfriend did this, I would break up with her and then take the guys to court. Then I would sell the car because it would no longer be any good to me.
They make it look really hard to make a Meshgrille, witch is the simplest trick to style a car. Every homepimped car has a meshgrille around here. If i would leave my car to a stylingcompany, i would lika a little more uniqe style. But on the other hand, i would never leave my car to a show that styles cars. Just look at pimp my ride on mtv. some cars come out as horrible creations, with more LCD-screens than an electronicsshop. No thanks!

Overhaulin - Only decent aspect of that show is the Girl and Chip Foose - Also they have huge budgets and CAD design
Pimp my ride - Again budgets and MTV sickly puke (blurrgh).
This is how alot of UK customising works, all from the heart and head not how some blinkered opinions are
Its the whole reason for customising taking aspects of different countries, styles and ways of creating it work
Hell.. even the ricers get it right...sometimes :)
