I agree with SScomedian, only not so much, haha. I think you need to step away from your normal routine, go somewhere where you can be just be with yourself, a paper and pen, and mediate and clear your mind. A lot of things can block our creativity but the biggest things are the daily grind of routine and stress. What are things that give you inspiration? Dive into them. Take notes on anything that inspires you. Draw parallels with the notes you've already made. Be patient with yourself. :)
[...] So i guess my advice is to continue watching funny shit. And try to remember stuff that happened to you in the past. usually the funniest stuff is inspired by real life.
try getting inspired by something.. as an architecture student, i have to design buildings on a regular basis. Lots of times, i've had difficulties getting started on projects. So i look through architecture magazines, think about the building's typology i want to design, and so on.. mostly the best designs come out of remembering specific situations or feelings i had in the past in different buildings.
Turn the light on, it won't look so much like a sex tape. =P I've never noticed the hands thing. o.0
One really good exercise to get rid of writer's block is to take a bunch of random words (urbandictionary, blindfold yourself and point at something, whatever method you want) and force yourself to build a story out of those words. It might suck at first, but you can tweak it to make it work. =]
take a shit without a book or anything just you, your thoughts and your crapper. No joke, that doesn't only cure writer's block but it is also a place to have meditation. true story

Sometimes it helps to write at weird hours, for me it's first thing in the morning before I do anything else.

Originality is dead, so just copy everything. Copy all that you can. It's not about what you're copying, it's about what that thing turns into
