  • murder is now legal in the state of california....um for the rich and famous

  • Everybody's on about Wagner, but what about Walken? I think one of them had something to do with it.

  • @reclaimerReclaimer Walken? He had no reason to kill her.

  • @norah1699 Probably not, but due to that quirky persona of his I suppose he just seems like he's hiding some knowledge of some kind. I could be wrong. I would say though, it's probably more likely Wagner could've done it.

  • @reclaimerReclaimer Yeah, he is quirky but I don't think he did it. I'm surprised that nobody heard her fall or scream for help. Anyway, nice background.

  • ok ppl ill put it 2 u this way I BELIVE he killed her either way he got away with it coz of money and power ppl who have money and power will never see the inside of a cell like u and i unless ur rich as and even if he did go 2 jail i bet ya he would get protective custody u and i will be left 2 get beaten and raped 2 the core ppl

  • With that said, he doesn't believe any further examinations will label Wood's death as anything other than an accident.

The three-time Academy Award nominee was sailing off Catalina Island during Thanksgiving weekend in 1981 on a yacht she owned with husband Robert Wagner when she mysteriously ended up dead in the water.

Officials initially ruled her death as an accident, and 30 years later, no evidence seems to prove otherwise.--Comcast News Jan. 10, 2012

  • Unfortunately this happens all to often among the rich and powerful. The average person could not get away with a traffic ticket but with enough money and influence, anything including murder can be bought, threatened or even eliminated. For the sake of truth and justice, if justice exists at all, I hope they will pursue this case until the truth is known and the purpatrator is punished.

  • Robert Wagner was a sick women beating tool.....He beat her...she hit her head on the deck or somewhere...she fell off the boat in the dark....End of story....2nd degree murder....or manslaughter at the very least...

  • I love you Natalie, ever though I was not even born when you were alive!

  • How can anyone allow the most gorgeous woman to drown?Robert Wagner is a loser and should get what is coming.

  • everyone stop here. nobody knows anything. you were not there. nobody saw

Natalie and Walkens together. Everyone wants to jump. there are many questions unanswered yes but hold off accusing.

  • @wobblesnorts Accusations must be made in order for charges to surface....

  • @cwmclaughlin67 "beating tool" is your accusation? And you say "End of story". My dear, or whomever you are, earn a degree in detective first and be a true dectective at work earning a living and stop getting attention. If the truth is not found out in court it certainly will be punishable by God. No detective nor police is going to waste their time to look at these notes we've written. Now thats a LAUGH. They have more important things to do. My goodness!! Be real!

  • I really hope the truth comes out.

  • Bitch got drunk, fell overboard and drowned. Or maybe Wagner through her in just to watch her die. Whatever the case, she's dead. Opening this case 30 years later seems a bit superfluous to me.

  • @TheLegendOfRandy stop being rude you asshole! Either way people & especially her fans love her and they want to know what happen! What if this happened to you, wont you want people to know what happened & take care of the case? And find out who killed you?! Geez

  • @OnyxSteph God forbid I ever get murdered, but if I was I would probably think... Well, I wouldn't have any opinions about being murdered; being dead an what not. Reopening the case 30 years later is simply pointless, in my opinion. If she were my friend, finding out whether she was murdered or not wouldn't make me feel any better; especially 30 years later. I don't mean to sound rude, I don't believe in 'bad' language; I just speak. I often forget I'm the minority on the subject.

  • @TheLegendOfRandy would you think the same if it were your mother, sister, daughter or wife? I'm not saying R.J. killed Natalie, but this story has lived on for decades. The truth, for better or worse, deserves to come out.

  • she was all washed up... bitches get drunk and kill themselves all the time. who cares ???

  • I think it was an accident, he teased her about water, they were drunk..fighting..she felt in the water and RJ not in his right mind refused to help and later panicked.

  • Here is a rumor I read on the Web several years ago. I retell it here with the sincere HOPE that the truth comes out! The gist of it is that poor Natalie was murdered because she knew that her husband (or someone else) murdered

actor William Holden the boyfriend of Stefanie Powers who was acting with Wagner at the time in the TV series "Hart to Hart". Apparently, Holden was too attached to Powers and "dragging her down". I PRAY that this is NOT true because it seems so heartless!! RIP Natalie!!

  • This IS rediculous, likely the captain was broke so he decided to change his story and cash in. Frankly in my mind he is as guilty as anyone if he helped cover something up. I have a hard time believing Robert Wagner is murderer and I bet Jill St John does too.

  • Cold water removes heat from the body 25 times faster than cold air. About 50% of that heat loss occurs through the head. Physical activity such as swimming, or other struggling in the water increases heat loss. Survival time can be reduced to minutes. Strong swimmers have died before swimming 100 yards in cold water. In water under 40 degrees F, victims have died before swimming 100 feet.

  • an enduring mystery...

  • `all you MORONS sound like the so-called experts that are ALWAYS wrong in the end on FOX,MSNBC,etc... Not one of you fools have a clue.Your assumptions are all from rating whore tv and magazine which tries to blow it up to more than it really was cause they were famous!!

  • @MrAmericanzombie

I've read a lot of books about Natalie Wood, and the witnesses stories have never changed. Not sure why you're so angry, were you there?

  • she was so beautiful!!!!. hope the real truth comes out!!! for sure too much drinking was going on, water and alcohol doesn't mix ever!!

  • There's a great movie that should be made on her life.

  • Natalie Wood was extremely afraid of water because she almost drowned when she was young, shooting some movie. So, she wouldn't get in a dinghy by herself. That leaves her either falling off the deck, or being pushed off.

Wagner did not want the search lights turned on when she went missing. He also didn't want to immediately alert the authorities. In my book, all of these facts make him culpable. The boat captain seems credible & not in it for the money. His conscience is eating away at him.

  • Natalie's Death= Big-Personalities angry and out of control, The influence of Alcohol and possibly drug intoxication, The precarious nature of the wet deck of the boat, and the darkness obscuring vision, his/her violent aggression, and "jealous lovers." Without question, this is the tragic equation, given even in the best light possible. Conversely, in the worst case, but perhaps not as plausible as simple accident, is that Wagner is guilty of something concerning her death- If not Murder 1.

  • Wagner killed her in a jealous rage beat her than through her over baord. He was extremely jealous of her friendship with Christopher Walken and suspected it was more than friendship

  • @0TheSeeker Yeah but wouldn't the others on the boat try to stop him if he was beating her, that is.? What if they did get into a more milder altercation and it went wrong,.Say she slipped trying to slap him or say he slaps her when they are fighting outside on the deck and she falls to her death by accident but during only a mildly physical fight with him- Even a mild argument when in a drunken state, and standing on the wet deck in the dark, could easily end in (an avoidable) tragedy, right?

  • @O2streaming 30 yrs ago people did not get envolved in domestic "squabbles", Sadly...

  • @LightAngel1960

OMG<<<you are correct times are different now, I DID NOT even think of that. That makes it look even more like foul play, and that makes me feel even worse about this- Something is not right about her death- facts are sketchy, and don't really add up- The parties involved need to come clean, and tell what they know! Maybe it is not foul play but still why not tell what really happened, if they did nothing wrong, the truth has nothing to risk, right?

  • Was he (Wagner) a violent person? It is easy to believe you, Because the depiction of the jealous wife-beating Wagner, could fit- Are you certain that he would hit her, and that he did hit her- if you are right this is very disturbing. Since it makes Wagner out to be a very sinister person- The interview with the 'Skipper' made me sick..since he would not tell what he knew- Anyone who cared for Natalie should be outraged, as most of her fans, and myself remain today.

  • Hopefully they will finally get Wagner for his crime.

  • We'll never know the truth to this case, it will just fizzle out once again. Re-opening this case is like taking a walk down memory lane, and nothing more.

Wagner and Walken are both old men now, their days are therefore numbered and neither will ever be considered suspect, let alone convicted.

  • Robert Wagner killed her.I am from another country,I never believed she got an accident. He murdered her.

  • no one is going to get charged in this matter.. no one knows what happend.. the fucking lapd is just trying to divert attention from its world of shit...

  • If Wagner isn't a suspect maybe Walken will be??? who knows. I remember a while back it was said she had a head injury as well which they attributed to hitting her head as she fell while trying to reach for the dinghy which of course sounds like someone hit her on the head w/ something. It'll come out eventually.

  • I'm going to suggest it was Christopher Walken, with a cowbell, on the boat.

  • I don't know what the truth is but I can't fathom her trying to get off the boat because of her fear of the water. They were all drinking so who knows?

  • The captain started telling the true story many years ago to a close friend, a journalist who ended up investigating the case on her own. She took notes over the years, and finally put it into a book.

THE CAPTAIN PASSED 2 SEPARATE LIE DETECTOR TESTS, copies of the reports are in the book. His version he is telling now seems more credible.

The accidental drowning theory is poked full of holes...

  • The story never seemed to ring true.I only question why the Capt. waited so long,TO TELL HIS TRUTH.

  • Can't wait!

  • I never thought it was an accident. I do think Wagner was probably part of it. But I personally place some blame on this captain who has "come forward". For one thing he could be saying this just to make money. Second even if he is telling the truth he lied 30 years ago and just now he has developed a conscience? It takes 30 years for your conscience to bother you enough? Even if he had nothing to do with anything he should not sleep well and is just as morally responsible as wagner if true.

  • It was said at the time that she tried to get in the dingy because Walken and Walker were drunk and arguing. She wanted to get away frm it and get to shore. Who knows the truth? I only know she is still missed today and could have gone on to give us so many more good films. RIP Natalie

  • @patty0130 Wagner has to be in his 80's now - why bother to bring it up? Sounds to me like the ship captain needs money and thought this would be a good way to get some. He already wrote a book so I heard.

  • Wagner was nutty possessive of her, she was ready to leave him and having an affair with Walken, and that night all of them were drunk and fighting and Wagner let Wood drown. Signed, Miss Marple

  • I always believed Robert Wagner had something to do with her death, He thought there was something going on between her and Walken. They were filming "Brainstorm" at the time. I am pretty sure she wasnt interested in him. She loved Mr. Wagner. But they had argued and she left the room....Thats all we are certain of. I would love for them to get to the bottom of this as I know Mr. Wagner had something to do with it and he has gotten away with it for 30 years.

  • @ibfancyt1 wagner is an idiot. always has been. a lot of people thought (and still think) walken is gay. natalie wood most likely saw walken as a gay best friend kinda guy. if wagner really thought natalie would be interested in a gay guy, he's brain dead. wagner was a pretty good looking guy but natalie was a way bigger star than him and could had done way better.

  • @ibfancyt1 he should have been in jail for 30 years

  • Hmmm...the police just had a press conference, and announced that Wagner was NOT a suspect. So....sounds like this captain's story is even MORE iffy. Maybe it was the captain?

  • @emacat1215 - the police aren't commenting on much and they're saying that right NOW Wagner is not a suspect. He will be.

  • @emacat1215 The police also said OJ wasn't a suspect, right up until they got an arrest warrant.

  • Bullshit.

  • Robert Wagner murdered her. He was jealous that Natalie was having an affair with Christopher Walken. I believe he pushed her over the ship.

  • @DanKelso , who would want to have an affair with walken??

  • @DanKelso What evidence is there that Wood and Walken were having an affair? What evidence is there Wagner did anything to her? You seem to believe a lot of things you just make up in your own mind based on no evidence.

  • I remember at the time a tasteless joke went around... What kind of Wood doesn't float? Natalie. Not my joke, I just remember it went around the world fast at the time.

  • @chris19046 i remember that one

  • I hope the real truth finally comes out, i never believed it was an accident..too many questions left unanswered.
