In 2002 they were wearing a black beret.

Only Armor (black), Guards (khaki) and CDO (maroon) are allowed to wear their berets with the No.1 dress.

All other services and arms are to wear peak caps

field camp is for ranger/guards/commandos...thes­e are the best/toughest unit in singapore army....they have to go for a survival couse where they have to go in the jungle without food and water....i think for 5 day or so....

You're so wrong. If you're talking about the 2 badges on his right, it is the parachutist badge or rigger badge (either one or both) and the other is the jungle confidence course badge. The one on his left is an overseas badge which I do not know about it.

And Ranger course is a 65 days course which is of course, go into the jungle with sufficient rations. 10 days is just too easy.

Theres no need to fight lar.. The emcee announced my organisation as the National Defence Cadet Corps.. WTF was that about?? Anyway, they announced SPF when the video was showing the RSAF because they were announcing the contingent performing the Marchpast at that point of time.. When they video-ed the RSAF, it had just finished the Marchpast and the SPF was up next.. So whats the problem??? No offence but I think the 2 best GOHs this year is the RSN followed by the SPF.. No arguing on that..
