Thanks for posting this--how appropriate to honor Independence Day. Daniel Hannan is today's Edmund Burke. He is absolutely right: the founders of this nation were conservatives trying to preserve their rights from increasing regulation & expanding centralist government. It's heartening to know that now, as then, Americans who love their liberty still have a staunch ally in England.
No problem, I was glad to have posted this. I haven't seen many speeches by Mr Hannan but when I came across this I found it moving and just. Thankyou for commenting :)
