Like Frampton, Morello is very creative with his use of effects and what not, but plug them straight into an amp and they both fall pretty far behind. Not many guitar players can match the sound slash gets out of his instrument.

They both have different styles. Slash is more rock n' roll and Tom is more MC, DJ Hip Hop style kind of rock. Tom modded his guitar to make all those sound effects, so I guess Tom is a little more creative. But I think both of them are good.
