This women has an awful voice...I don't get her appeal at all. People always said I looked liked her and I was mortified! I thought she's a nutter! Sorry but I just don't get her at all with exception of one or two such as Wuthering Heights and A man with a child in his Eyes....other than that she screeches! Horrendous. Not meaning to offend anyone with my opinion, just needed to express it! x

@JennistaBell Her voice isn't for everyone and takes some getting used to, but if you actually gave her music a chance beyond just two songs, you'd see just how brilliant she is. And voice gets more refined with age, so perhaps you should work your way backwards through her discography in order to get used to it. Then maybe you can appreciate what a great singer she is.

yes this is wonderful. but better than Aerial? you gota be kidding. and to the other guy, yes a 50 year old can sing better than a 16 y/old. her voice is out of this world on Aerial. i love all her albums but Aerial is just sublime.

I agree, from what I've heard so far from Aerial, I like her old demo's and albums MUCH better. It's a different style, plus her voice has changed through the years.

I disagree about "Aerial"'s quality, but I was just thinking the same thing otherwise--all these unreleased demos, if collected and recorded properly, would make one smashing album (or two...). But that's just a sign of what an amazing talent she is--even the discarded demos are masterpieces. At least release them on a rarities compilation!!!

Completely disagree in regard to the brilliant AERIAL. I've been listening to these demos for 25+ years now, and I'm always struck by how much of AERIAL is like a return to these kinds of songs that only Kate Bush could do.

These demos are so precious, but Kate doesn't like to "go back" to her early work, and she does consider this "juvenilia" even if we all think otherwise. Besides, so many of these songs, in their own way and in her own way, evolved in to others.
