i just recently began using the new 2011 version for the first time (i have no prior experience) and the sound was muffled greatly compared to your camera. Scout, how did you increase the sound quality?

@GhillieBankai You open the back of the camera, take out the internals then drill a tiny hole in the bottom of the case near the front, Tachyon did have a tutorial video on how to do this on their YouTube channel.

Scout - I've been looking at the XC for use at my local haunts - what do you use to attach to your game helm? I'm hoping that this could also be used for a gun rail cam aswell.

@evilharb You can buy a gun mount for the XC but you could just tape it on as I have done, go to the company website and they have all the different mounts available

@Riyu55 High-cap mags hold more shots than a mid-cap (about 200-1000), but a wheel has to be wound every 50-70 shots. High-caps are loaded by pouring BBs into the tank and either winding up the wheel on the bottom of the mag until it clicks or operating the mag electrically. so they are just winding it.

XC have their own Youtube Channel where they show you how to get better sound, takes five minutes to sort it out.

Its an AGM MP40, in this video its using the original AGM motor which I replaced after this video with a Tokyo Marui EG1000

you could buy em off ebay they come with fragmentation grenades and smoke.. they cost around 5 to 30 bucks but its good..

those smoke grenades are a little Ironic. In order to sneak through smoke, you must first light it up to where it looks like a signal flare then it realeases the smoke.

I dont mind getting shot at, I call out that I am a cameraman if I have to call out "Cameraman" over and over again I do start to get pissed off

At the players discretion, but eye protection of some form is required (most often shooting glasses).

You have to remember that FPS rules over here are much lower than in the US, and also the engagement distances on this site are fairly large, so by the time a BB hits you, it's fairly low powered.
