Actually, it's still manufactured by Glico, so it tastes the same. I guess it's just cheaper to import it from Taiwan or elsewhere =/

it tastes completly diffrent. the recipie isnt the same as authentic japanese. it tastes rather cheap and nasty when compared to japanese. i know because i have a box of 20 taiwanese and ive got several packets of japanese, its totally diffrent. the quality is entirely diffrent. believe it or not mikardo or whatever they are called. they are still licenced by glico and made in france. and they are pure shite :P. but yeah, the flavours totally diffrent from authentic japanese.

I'm not sure - this was in May last year. At the most recent MCM (last October), they had Japanese ones. The thing is, they seem to mix up the Taiwanese boxes and Japanese boxes. What do you mean by "1.50 a pack"? Surely you don't mean £1.50 for a single box...?

A large series of shooting games which started being made in 1996 and are still being made to this day. There'a very large cast of characters and detailed (multiple, alternative) storylines which is unusual for this genre of game. There's also a ridiculously large amount of music (usually remixes of themes of stages or bosses) made by 3rd parties or fans, and a similar amount of fan-made manga (doujinshi). Search Google for "Touhou Wikia" (yes) for much more info than I can fit into 500 chars.

Yeah, same here! The only place I managed to catch a few frames of the Suwako cosplayer was from a distance in the queue, unfortunately. I did throw part of the clip into this video too - she's next to the guy holding the "Free swine flu" sign.

(It sucked that there was absolutely no Touhou merchandise though... last year in October there was a box of TH Project doujinshi, but I only got 1 - I would've bought more if I'd known there'd be none this May.)

Again, this was different to last October where there were boxes crammed full of doujinshi nearly to the point of overflowing. Perhaps interesting stuff is only sold at the October expos...?
