Not to slam the maker of this video TOO much, but you can NOT make a video with such strange images and expect everyone to find it beautiful. What's it about? What's the symbolism? It raises all of these questions, but you missed one step: ANSWERING THEM! Maybe what I'm getting at is a very conventional and conformist type of art, but don't expect so much from your audience. Although this is interpretive, some can't seem to be able to think so I'll think for you.

Light is synonymous with knowledge. People are born without knowledge and thus, cannot see the light they do not have. This guy is discovering knowledge, flourishing in it, then attempting to show others the knowledge but realizes he is alone in the world as is everyone. Everyone must find the light themselves. You can only show the door to people, they must put effort into walking through it themselves.
