  • doesnt the russian train systema spetznaz?

  • look at the accent it's so funny . I don't like russsss

  • @898112715 what the fucking is funny with our accent?

you don't know how worst is an american trying to speak russian...

  • @898112715 How can you look at an accent? And why don't you like Russia? I always get the answer ''They suck at hockey and the ak47 sucks''

  • бля да мы лучше делаем лохи америка )

  • We now have a hip throw, and a scissor takedown... aw scissor me timbers!

  • 1:45 Have a nice sleep...

  • The Sambo is extremely violant, i see a guy do that he take the man and eat to him the ground O_O, but here it's for see the sambo and not discuss on the bla bla bla usa is stronger bla bla bla russian is better...Are you stupid or what ?

  • "Mother nature's a bitch, but mother russia is worse" haha

  • This is NOT!!! russian Fighting style it's a georgian fighting style .

  • 1:25 the guy being thrown with O goshi looks very much like he is jumping over his opponent. Pretty bad.

  • yea the big bald 1 is probably the most disrespectful dont like him much ive whatch a few in a row and he always is talking over an instructor or jst genral douchebagness

  • I think Mr Retiunskih may have been duped by Discovery Channel here. He doesn't teach Sambo. He teaches Rossijskaya Otechestvennaya Systema Samozashchity or in acronym, R.O.S.S. That's "Russian Native System of Self-defense," which is more related to Kadochnikov's Systema than to Sambo. In Cyrillic letters that's "Росси́йская Оте́чественная Систе́ма Самозащи́ты" or "POCC" for short, which why that's written on the back of the camo gi's.

  • @CNCTEMATIC Hi. Sambo is part of the R.O.S.S system. I see you post on tons of rma videos so I know that you know what systema is. In this clip he is clearly teaching a "hard", asian influenced style. There are a bunch of clips right here on the tube of him teaching sambo.

  • @creepychris11 Hi. Sorry I disagree. I know a lot of Judo and Sambo clubs post vids of Retuinskih teaching and call it Sambo, but I think he would say he's teaching ROSS grappling (NB Gi). ROSS and Sambo are obviously related, one could say Retuinskih added Combat Sambo and boxing to Kadochnikov's systema to make ROSS, but I don't think Sambo is part of ROSS. That's my impression, which I have got from Systema teachers such as my own and K Secours. Cheers :)

  • @CNCTEMATIC That makes sense. Although... you just agreed with me on sambo being part of R.O.S.S.. That's basically all I was trying to say. There also is the confusion of systema being refered to as sambo back when it was russia's little secret. I envy the fact that you got to train with kevin. He seems like an excellent instructor. I don't even have a systema school in my area!

  • @creepychris11 Yeah, perhaps I'm splitting hairs. No doubt they are related, as in jiu jistu being a 'part of' judo. I do think Sambo is not a part of ROSS in the same way that, eg, BJJ is a part of MMA. Eg, in ROSS (and other systema styles), you almost never look for a lock or choke when grounded; you look to disegage the opponent ASAP. Contra Sambo. Lines get blurred with Combat Sambo.

Kevin is the best teacher I've met. Lotsa good ones in the US-what state?

  • @CNCTEMATIC Everything I've seen and heard about him points to that.I live in central mass. It's frustrating to be one state away from kevin's "new england headquarters" but it's HOURS from my home. Getting up there two or three times a week is not only physically an impossibility but the cost of gas seals the deal! hahahahaha! Have you heard any news about his "warhead part two" dvd coming out?

  • FALTAN LAS PALANCAS A LAS PIERNAS...

  • 1:42 is that Fedor?

  • @kookahjoon no

  • the only issue is i have with Sambo I personally watched as this fighting style was countless dystroyed by Krav Maga and (BJJ) and hate to say it but the jews got it right

  • @cinnreds18 That's because there aren't alot of people who are good at sambo. You probably saw somebody who doesn't fully grasp the technique.

  • By the way do not belive the propaganda , Stalin was all for Sambo and sports . but there was evidence of Oscheko , being a spy for Japan ...before ww2

  • @HK379 evidence is a very loose term under stalin

  • @Fujaskanerv

well in any case contraband from an enemy country .. might raise suspicion .

  • That's right, mother nature is a bitch but mother Russia is worse

  • whats the technique at 4:19 called ? :D

  • whats the technique at 4:19 called ? :D

  • FUCK YOU ADVERTISEMENTS!!!

  • Fuk the russian they took our shit like all non-oriental and then they try to make their own martial arts using our oriental technique and training ...sambo came from judo since Oshchepkov fuking got most of the move from kano and mix it in with katae and othe form of wrestling just like bitchass bjj took from judo and jjj

  • @asian714cali yeah yeah and you take hamburger

  • @asian714cali alot of these moves are also used in Oriental martial arts but alot of technique's cant really be called Exclusive to only jiu jitsu or judo, cause alot of these throws have been used in pankration / greek roman wrestling too. there are almost no martial arts with native technique's only, ( and i have the greatest respect for oriental martials i even practise a few) for instance judo also incorperates throws from wrestlings now that werent in the original regime.

  • @TheObelix876 there were no recorded of judo and jujuitsu using move or training from non-asian martial arts and they definitely dont use greeco-roman wrestling or pankrartion in it and most of asian martial arts are native base beside a few which might have made adjustment such as japanese shoot wrestling but stilll not alot and third of all sambo use alot fo move from european base wrestling yes but most of their throwing technique and bit of ground fight come from judo

  • @asian714cali after Kano died other throws were incorperated into judo including a double leg takedown which comes from pankration, and alot of these throws have been practised in Russia / SU country's for centuries aswell

  • @TheObelix876 but i wil agree with you that many martial arts nowadya dont use the ORIGINAL form only anymore those asian martial arts that do use other technique and training from other martia larts mostly uses the technique and training from other asian country only to mix it in

  • @asian714cali My teacher always used to say: Fear the man who knows Judo, or Fear the man who knows Karate, but fear the man who knows both more.

  • @TheObelix876 nice i agree with your master but i rather keep it a bit old school :P by learning one thing to be a bit nationalist but yeah your master is right

  • @asian714cali thats your choose ofc

  • so now tpu see how mother russia thanks you for the things you did; she sends you to the gulag, a prison in siberia

  • 2:07 did he break this hand?

  • Between all the military figthing styles i´ve been researching this morning, there´isn´t one as hardcore and effective than the Israeli Krav Magá..

Russian army Sambo is great, US Marines MCMAP is great, but Krav magá is just the best..

If someone doesn´t know it, just search ''Krav magá'' you won´t regret..

  • @Mrgokueldestructor My dad was a Marine so he taught me some MCMAP, but I really wanna learn Sambo. Hard to find it around where I live

  • @gunzsarge Yes, MCMAP is good, Sambo is even better, but Krav Maga is just great, i´m from Mexico and here there is only one Krav maga school in the a city named Monterrey, i want to learn Krav maga, is great..

  • heading into the rugged russian wilderness he says, while walking on a bridge

  • Patałachy!!!:) troche im pocisnal:)

  • good video, most of the sambo videos on youtube are shit and don't show what sambo is about.

  • judo much!!!

  • that `professional fighter´ in this show is the biggest douche ever. in every sport, the big guy was better than he was. he seriously has no clue and thinks that he is soo tough..

he even got beat up badly by a thai boxer that was 20kg lighter than he was.. well, some professional fighter that is xD

  • Mother nature is a bitch but Mother Russia is worse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If the Cold War was still on....We would be royally screwed!

  • gi's in army colors! how cool is that!!!

  • They are doing Systema here, as well.

  • LOL one of the army guys had Vans skating shoes on. xD

  • They bleeped when Fedor said ass, but they don't bleep BIll saying Bitch? WUT.

  • Did anyone notice something that really in my opinion differs russia from usa? Soldiers train WITH a general. I haven't been in the army, but you who have, did YOU ever train with a general?

  • @Bishop45acp that was like 8 ppl training. not a whole platoon.

  • @xxTULANExx So? Find me 8 ppl training in us army with general, sf, or ordinary army no matter and your comment will make sense

  • @Bishop45acp

well, but u need to know that there is 1200 russian generals comparing to 200-300 in USA

  • @Bishop45acp

I did in USSR army, but not with general, but with USSR minister of deffence Mr. Ustinov who was Marshall

  • @Bishop45acp very good point!

  • @Bishop45acp In sweden my brother was just an normal soldier and he got to train/guard the king :D!

  • @Bishop45acp nope

  • @Bishop45acp I've been to army as a sergeant. Generals are to command and create strategies not to train soldiers.

  • @doctorelectron I agree, but i just said that is the difference between western countries and russia, at least what i noticed, as i have said, i have never been in army, so no need to be harsh :)

  • @Bishop45acp Yes that's true.

  • i dont think the SEALS do anything like this

  • The training sessions in the woods are awesome conditioning for the body and the true balance skills required around wet tree roots can only sharpen your body's reactions even more.

    Good stuff.

    (apart from the Americans)

  • lol 0:43 he's got that wrestlers mentally of always keeping his legs spread. Any good wrestler knows that performing throws you need to T-step and bring your legs together. You can't perform a good throw without being off balance yourself. Bill duff is a goon

  • I can't believe he made that Cold War comment! You're in Russia in the woods homie, watch it now.

  • Man, what do u expect from the hosts? on the one hand they had to do the "serious" technical part, but on the other hand, 45 mins of just presenting MA techs can become boring for people which are no pro MA fighters or do this more as hobby, so they try to stay "cool" making jokes or other funny stuff. dont take it 2 serious, they must hold balance between both things. greetz from germany 2 all fighters, pros or not, out there. crush the enemy :D

  • kharlampiev just stole georgian martial art.

SAMBO is not Russian martial art. it is stolen martial art from Georgia.. Christopher Niniashvili has taught Russians. I have video with legendary Christopher Niniashvili

  • @Tibarenian lol, what else did Georgia invent ? Gunpowder ?

  • @sanjar2007 do some resarch asshall

  • @sanjar2007 if i take some triks from judo, some from some karate and call it MYSPORT, will it be really mine? i mean in sambo most of triks are taken from georgian wrestling ;)

  • @papapupunana If the sport that you invented becomes an olympic sport like sambo then meybe ... but right now you or being retarded .... so if it took some tricks from Georgian wrestling dosent mean its Georgian ... and its not asshall, its asshole ...you retard

  • @sanjar2007 when Kharlampiev was creating SAMBO, he just take Georgian "chidaoba" and give a new name SAMBO. (SAMBO 99% georgian "chidaoba") he learn Georgian "Chidaoba" from brothers Niniashvili. this is history and if it is not true, than answer at my simple question: "Georgia with 4 million population have more champions then Russia with population 150 million.... why?" ;)

    P.S.

I dont want talk about your woman and goat like man :)

  • This general utilized not Sport Sambo, he uses Combat Sambo with Special Forces add-ons (small joint manipulation, eye gouging, groin attacks, self-defense against knifes and guns).

  • Oshepkov is Djudo master !!!!!

The SAMBO father is Anatolii Haralampiev !!!!!

On black and white film show DjiuDjiTsu not SAMBO !!!!

  • this was the best episode... the only episode that didn't make the art they learning look stupid... i respect russians and would love to learn this.

  • i just watch this show because i'm interested in the different martial arts. but i seriously can't stand the two hosts. always a witty remark, always need to make fun ... I don't know what you think but sometimes I just think they lack a great deal of respect.

and the worst thing in this show is that they always are so dramatic about everything -always in some super secret bases, woods and what not training with the most dangerous brutal mofos they could find ...

  • @XxTestProfilxX Their perceived attitude is probably the making of the History Channel. In case you never noticed, anything on the History Channel is played out like this wether it be ice road trucking, logging, or even martial arts.

I totally agree with you though. The attitude they have and the drama do not add to the show in a great way.

  • @XxTestProfilxX Yes I totally agree and they spoil the programme by being two hollywood, it's almost like good cop bad cop and Jason is the one with the job of looking pretty for the girls.

I think the Russians showed great dignity in allowing these two goons to even film at all. They need to show respect to the art and fighting systems by not attempting to sensationalise the show quite so much.

  • @misternylon TOO Hollywood I meant*

  • @XxTestProfilxX you're right they make a big thing of everuthing; a big russian, the russian forest, its just a russian and just a forest

  • @XxTestProfilxX Totally agreed. the bold guy is such a dick

  • @XxTestProfilxX the most dangerous brutal mofos are the ones who will teach you how to adapt to using the art in real world situations.....

  • @chaotic86neutral

.... and what did you want to tell me with that?

  • @XxTestProfilxX That it's not the worst thing in the show. If anything, it helps make it more appealing.

  • @chaotic86neutral

well read my comment again, because that was not what I was criticising ;)

  • @XxTestProfilxX

Try Fight Quest, it's much more authentic and the hosts are put through some very rigorous training.

Their chemistry is also much better than in Human Weapon.

  • @XxTestProfilxX you know, they are in a show and to get paid they have to do what they are told to do, maybe it is just part of the show to make that sort of fun and nut disrespect, altought i cant stand it too, but i try to look at it from different angle

  • my mma instructor was taught everything he knows by vadim kalganov its a true honour to be part of that linage and I look foreword to training with the legend himself one day.

  • haha we could sense our skills improving. bill, your meathead ego makes me vomit

  • I find it cool That militaries from each country have their own deadly fighting skills like Philippines Marines got Kali

  • wait a minute. so the guy who invented sambo, came and taught the russian army his techniques and then was shot as a reward . why to keep it a secret. and then 1 year after he was shot, sambo was introduced to evryone in russia by the goverment as a national sport. thats pretty fucked up

  • @HewNed1 Yeah, Oshchepkov was accused of being a Japanese spy, having spent so much time there studying Judo. So Stalin ordered he be executed during the '37 purges.

  • Лучший в боевом Самбо - Фёдор Емельяненко!

  • @DikloV he lost to Werdum on jui jutsu

  • Putin would beat Obama's ass any day of the week.

  • If you enjoy what ever martial art you are studying then it is the perfect system for you. we are all different, and thus there are many different martial arts. We must all learn to respect each other as well as other systems of martial arts, the world just might be a more peaceful place if we do

  • omg... i want to learn all this!!!

  • stalin killed the creator of sambo???? this guy has no limits to death. what a fag

  • i dunno but id love to have one of the suits they r training in

  • Those russians are preparing for WW3 ^^

  • lol @ 5:03

they're leveling up their sambo skills!

  • Spetsnaz rule!!! Sambo is awesome. Powerful yet smooth movements. Just look at Fedor's fight against Hong man Choi, he lifted the world's tallest fighter up when he was doing his armbar.

  • Comment removed

  • Vadim Kolganov = Legend. I've just had an intense training session with him in Carlisle a couple of days ago!! So fluid in his techniques. Nice guy 2.

  • mother fucker russia viva kosova and albania

  • @KOSOVOEDVIN

albania ... lol such a small weak country... dare speak hard words loool

go back into your paperbox house on teh street ...

    bum loser

  • wing chun on steroids...love it XD

  • can someone tell me y the fuck did the guy climb up the tree?

  • It's to show on how to blend in to the environment to deceit an opponent.

  • @shitfucksuck I think it was a trick to make the opponent think he was running away from him

  • "i owe you something when i get up bill" lol

  • lmfao wing chun workout on steroids xDDD

  • I wonder what those Russians in the clip will do if they understand what they are saying. "Mother Nature is a bitch, but Mother Russia is worse." HAHA. And this is not Bill's first time to make this kind of statement.

  • "This is not your gym training, come on..." funny :)

  • not bad but still very weak and there is no sign of potential for those men after 2012

  • lol mother nature is a bitch he says

  • cool

  • always want to see those proud MMA dudes get bashed by special ops dudes. Spetsnaz dont mess with those guys u get an MMA expert against a spetsnaz commando well make sure theres an ambulance to take the MMA to hospital quick enough. The SAS, SEAL and Spetsnaz dudes train to kill,

  • @Lukeclout well, thats their job...

  • @Lukeclout too bad Brandon Wolff (navy SEAL) received 60+ knee's to the face, and then was released from the UFC (0-2)

  • @TeamSpeakPranks u obviously know little of MMA and UFC fighting rules. SEAL teams, spetsnaz, SAS type commando units learn Krav Maga or Systema hand to hand combat. In these arts, the troops are instructed mostly on temple-base skull strikes, elbow strikes to repiratory area, spinal cord etc. ALL THESE ARE STRICTLY DISALLOWED in MMA AND UFC. Dont ask me how i know these. i do systema and combat sanda. went into an mma fight and got kicked out for using the illegal moves.

  • @Lukeclout

system is better than krav maga.... even fat guy can use it...

while in krav maga u need a normal body...

btw krav maga .. israel defense shit.. is only a mix of different effective matirial arts like kung fu karate .. what ever... just a mix...

    not realy a own art

  • @SibirianHusky I agree with one thing, and disagree with another you said..."krav maga .. israel defense shit" So true. It sucks. Now you said:"while in krav maga u need a normal body." I disagree. In Krav Maga you need a superhuman body better than Superman's, with 2 assault rifles, body armor, 6 grenades, a knife, and fully armored helicopter backup to deal with one unarmed 9 year old kid. In a fair MMA fight they usually don't stand a chance even with all of that. Krav Maga is pathetic.

  • @trounds2

    ye u right

may i havnt choos teh right words

so yes u need a superman body lol ^^

and if im not wrong krav maga isnt a own system

its just a mix of some matirial arts...

take what u need from other and call it the new defens technik lol

  • What the hell are you talking about ??!! Krav Maga, is a self defense system. Not a sport ! MMA is two guys in a cage with gloves, who can't hit to the balls, throat, eyes. Nothing wrong with that, because IT is a SPORT. I think a Krav Maga practitioner maybe don't have a chance in a cage fight, and I don't say they don't I just say they maybe don't, but if you put an MMA fighter against multiple or armed attacker, in the streets, with no rules ...

  • I don't think he will be the one standing at the end of it. Put a Krav Maga practitioner against an MMA fighter against each other, with no rules ... I don't think the MMA fighter would have a big chance. Not because it is inferior, just because they don't pursue the same goal. Again, one is a sport with rules, the other is a self defense system with no rules. In a cage Krav Maga is not properly represented since they can't attack groin, eyes, throat and all. think before to write please. Thanks

  • @yonsterify

I agree with you. Krav maga is effective in a real self defense combat situation but that does not meant Sambo is not. Remember Sambo is and will be a militaristic self defense combat form. It is similar in goal to krav maga.

  • @MDIS Hell yeah, I definitely agree with that. I wouldn't like to fight one of this Sambo guys, or maybe I would, cause I could learn so much from it. I think every martial art if practiced with discipline and good understanding of the techniques and biomechanics can be really effective ... Just depends on the practitioner really ... : )

  • @yonsterify Funny you mentioned that I just got a Krav Maga Old School CD or I think its a DVD and it's real great but then again bro even if theres no rule MMA for example Im a wrestler and BJJ Black Belt... I take you down and break your arms and legs and if I over power you in both of that category then all the self defense you have learned will be nothing

  • @BLAZEgaming101 yeah, that's a good point you make there, but if your opponent is a good Krav Maga fighter for example, his got as many chances to take you down or knock you out before you take him down as you to put him down and break his arms. You seem to have a high grade, remember the basic, you always expose yourself when you attack. Against a good fighter chances are always 50/50, or that's my opinion on it. It sounds cliche, but I don't believe that the outcome depends on the style anyway

  • @yonsterify Yes I agree... though I have been practicing Krav Maga a lot now and it's more of a defensive maneuver but I would say its like 55% out of 45% MMA beats Krav Maga for that also in no rules but MMA would sure win with rules, I say they would win 55% at no rules because well if we're fighting outside the streets we use no weapon...I throw you around cause Im a wrestler then that would break your head already if you land it on the floor so hard or being a BJJ expert I can kill quick

  • @BLAZEgaming101 yeah maybe ... My opinion on this, being a martial artist too, is that the only thing you can do in a fight is your best. You can't really know the outcome of it. I've seen yellow belt whack brown and black belt, so that doesn't really matter to me. they are counters even to take down, and killing someone takes more than skills I think too. I don't know, I see your point, but I stil think in a fight both have 50% chances to win. I personally prefer to avoid fighting : )

  • @yonsterify The thing most JJ and BJJ people don't get is that in a street situation grapling and takedowns arn't always a good idea.

  • @dadadee100 Yeah, I agree, Even though they can be effective, I have heaps of respect for these guys and this art, I've been into some grappling/ ground fighting systems before, and am now studying Wing Chun, and I believe in a street situation, I wouldn't use much takedown and ground work unless I have to ... I'd rather try to hit well and fast and stay on my feet so I can get out of situation as soon as possible ...

  • @yonsterify The only grappling moves I would consider doing in a street fight would be chokes or something els I can take to the streets

  • @dadadee100 Yeah, I don't know, you know, I always find it hard to think "I'll take this move or this one" because it depends on so many things. If I get in a situation where let's a hip throw would be the most appropriate move I'd do one of those, if the best move would be a kick to groin or whatever then that ... Know what I mean ?

  • @yonsterify True that I mean if you can give someone a kick in the face and brake their nose open there is no reason to graple them to the ground and your right that its hard to think I find it hard too

  • @dadadee100 Haha yeah it is hard to think ... That's I rather talk myself out of shitty situation much easier and relaxed ...

    Peace mate

  • Comment removed

  • This is Retuinskih's System: "Rossijskaya Otechestvennaya Systema Samozashchity" (ROSS)

  • Its like the cold war is still on. What a....what brilliant thing to say in front of a Russian military officer.

  • @trtski best quotation^^

  • @trtski

dont talk bad about your whore mother son of a dog pumped full of opium

btw dont use russian stuff loser

when does afghanistan start with building of own weapons and planes ?

    poor crackhead country...

    DRUGDEALING COUNTRY LOL

    wrong way

  • @trtski ya, i found that pretty funny as well lol.

  • @trtski but the bald fucks and ur mothers are the worst

  • @PrsFenderJackson1980 He represents America well(sarcasm)

  • @PrsFenderJackson1980 I just got the revelation of what the global elites who stir up wars are thinking. War is like a game to the Illuminati elite. They want to set up mortal combat contests and sit back and watch the shit on tv. The next step in the agenda is war between US and Iran, and to get China and Russia involved to start WWIII. The fucked up thing is, I was sitting here watching this and envisioning how US would fair against Russia. Now taking bets! Just kidding.

  • thank you for the video

  • this more systema then sambo

  • And Systema is just renewal of Spiridonov's way of Sambo ;)

  • doing any material art is amazing i love doing it so much, it builds confidence makes new friends, gains strength and give you self defense moves that do help you.

  • whats material art? like panting a canvas? making a blanket?

Man.... i wish being an asshole was still funny.

  • the move at 4:19 is awesome

  • nope, for the win.

  • for the win

  • i want to learn sambo

  • 0:28 LOL

  • 240 maybe :P not 300 hehe :)

  • At :58 he just about broke the guys arm.

  • 300 lb russian...?

  • How come they didn't beep it when he said "bitch", but they always beep the word "ass"?

  • its not human he offended anyway so no need to BEEP it:P
