I am here today, to bring awareness to the events that took place in 92 and 93. These were serious events that took place nearly 20 years ago. Please take a moment to thank the brave men that took part in those faithful nights. Lest we forget
when i watch this i get goosebumps everytime, i was 9 years old and i stayed up watching it with my whole family, sometimes i almost come to tears when i see this
Those back to back World Series wins bring back so many great memories of being a kid for me! The classic WAMCO lineup! It was a great time to be a Jays fan that's for sure! I'll always remember they used to update the score to afternoon playoff games over the pa system at school. "Touch em all Joe! You'll never hit a bigger homerun in your life!"
I remember going into class the following week, I was the only Cdn in that class, everyone including the teachers were cheering for Philly and I was the only one cheering for Toronto. So when I went into class, I expected to have someone to at least mention game six like all the other games, but what I heard was music to my ears...and that was dead silence. xD
I was stoked to hear that they had won for the second time. I was thinking they would have to fire Cito Gaston. But his job was safe for another couple of years before they finally fired him.
I was 4 years old and WILL NEVER forget this moment! Made me a baseball fan forever, and locked Joe in as my fav player of all time.

@naganofan1 But unlike Joe, Halladay isn't a 2-time world champion...

It really disappointed me when I went to the first home opener after they made all the changes to the SkyDome, the Jays hit a home run...
and there were no fireworks.
