Nadal have absolutly no sense of humor. It might be a bit imature to do what Söderling did but it's way more imature to look like you have just shit in your pants as a reaction. Tha fact that they don't talk to eachother just shows that they dont know each other and that doesn't giver him a deeper iage of the other person. Nadal is very irritating.. If it's the rules they sould change the stupid rules. It would be as if after each basket we should wait half a minute before playing the ball. Nadal knows that this strategy irritates his opponents, He's all about winning. Very tired of it.

Said that Soderling is the less appreciated tennis player. he never smiles, he's not fairplay at all, and at the opposite of djokovic, laughs of the other players without respect. Hmm... It is simply just respect. Nadal is trying to serve in the beginning, while Soderling is away getting his racquet. Now Soderling is waiting for Nadal's serve, then Nadal hesitates to serve. And then Soderling makes fun of Nadal. Just why cannot these two players respect each other? Who's fault is it? It seems disappointing that they cannot get along.

@queenofcourt I saw Soderling play live and I must say, I think he has the most fluid strokes on tour. Even if you think they are ugly, and he is ugly, they were useful at RG 2009 and at the world finals as well... And they will be useful this year too

It's a good point that Soderling makes. It seems like everyone always has to wait for Rafa and the one time that someone makes Nadal wait, the guy has something to say. I don't mind Nadal taking so long to play like a lot of people seem to because it adds excitement to the matches. I love watching Nadal vs. Djokovic because they both play super slow which is why matches like the Madrid '09 Semi-final are so epic. But if you're going to make people wait, you'd better be able to take it too.

Rafa is a young boy, he is very nice and humble. He is probably the best player because he has got everything at only 23 years old. He never says nothing bad about anybody, even this ogre. I agree he is a fighter, but people who understand tennis can see beyond. He is strong-minded and he can hit as perfectly as Federer or Murray. He is not Ferrer or Rodick

Solderling is a fun and honest guy. Nadal is kind of extreme sometimes, seems like the rigid board of a person. Also its true that he wastes so much time between points but was so pissed at Solderling for changing his raquet.

I think most people are instigating or over analyzing the situation. At best you can possibly observe that the two don't get along, and in my opinion it adds to the intensity of the match. As for Rafa taking forever to replace his ball or get new rackets? The difference between successful players and those who frequently lose are the ones who can endure any situation in a match. in my opinion, Rafa is successful not only because of skill, but because he can maintain composure.
