  • I almost did it without upgrading the whip, but I always get hit! It makes me made! >:(

  • @dswolf123 IM MADE TO

  • 0:52 notice the face change? awesome

  • what if they make Castlevania Chronicles The 2nd?

Graphics are now 3d or lets say 2.5D.

But I think Konami will not make castlevania anymore.

  • the first form was epic, but the second one was lame

  • Two Dracula minions aren't impressed.

  • crack that whip!!!

  • 1:10

    I WANT TO TAP YOU

  • this game has the best level and final level complete musics out of all the CV games.

  • So far, this has to be my favorite look for Dracula

  • for psp memory card yes

  • wow, you owned that cookie monster

  • at 1:53

    dracula:eat shit and die

    XD

  • Is this like a modern version of the first castlevania game???

  • @adventureboys21

its a remake made in 1993 on another system that was japanese exclusive. then the producer thought about how people outside of japan missed it and made an improved version on the PSX.

  • Wohohoho hat in the unholy names of ASS is this fuckness?

wait...fuckness is not a word? well it should be

  • @OmniTerror so you fight the evil cookie monster and your health never replenishes so this whole thing is like an endurance round.

  • WHAT? He takes damage in ANY part of his body? I didn't know that, I always tried to hit his head D:

  • 0:54 AHHH i disfigurated my face !! idiot

  • It sucks that he takes damage in any part of his body when he transforms. In the original Castlevania you had to keep beating him in the head, or no damage. From what I see the arrange mode is a lot easier

  • @chronohugo no he takes from anywhere but it takes about 4 hits to do 1 damage try holy water

  • Melting throne room ftw.

  • I have the most mixed feelings on this game, the improved graphics were nice but what made it great for me was the smoother and more responsive controls, and importantly, you don't fly back when getting hurt. I just absolutely despised the new levels they added, I would like to see remakes of all the old games. Hell, a remake of SOTN with graphics like Dracula X Chronicles on PSP would be a dream come true.

  • @Warhawk556 I'd rather have it on 3DS, so I don't have to deal with shit like memory cards and disks, plus they've never brought SotN to nintendo so i'd be nice. It doesn't have to be in 3D either.

  • @smashlover9 you can download it in psn for ps3 and psp

    no disc nor memory cards

  • I see they brought back the "Cookie Monster" form from the first Castelvania game haha

  • Only two forms? Most final bosses have atleast 3 forms you have to beat.

  • @LordMalice6d9 the original game was made in like 1986, a second form boss was a pretty new thing

  • You'd think that Dracula would perfect his battle scheme. The battle's the same every game.

  • so the ulstimate question is how this goes along with lords of shadow...and whats going to be come next...

  • what, only two forms? pshh.

  • It's the COOKIE MONSTER!!!!

  • DIE YOU MONSTER!

  • is that simon belmont

  • Way easier than the NES dracula

  • the first forms of the final bosses in every castlevania are the same? it's damn boring

  • damn man i loved this game so good

  • Why does Dracula find joy in breaking wine glasses?

  • Man Dracula, why are you always destroying perfectly good glassware?

  • @Shadowserg just curious, are those pictures in the background of a beholder.

  • @K1llerSpades it's Simon, this is a remake of the MSX 2 version of Castlevania called Akumajō Dracula (aka: Vampire Killer) which was basically was a alternate version of the NES Castlevania, with a few different bosses, different levels, and alternate versions/designs of the NES levels. it's actually quite good.

  • @Evilmonkey66699 Correction: this is a remake of the X68000 version (an old Japanese computer by Sharp). The MSX 2 version of Akumajou Dracula is very different than this - it looks like the original NES graphics, but has keys and adventure-quest elements. Yes, it is quite good.

  • @davintheraven yeah I remembered that after I already posted that comment, but thanks for correcting my mistake especially in a polite way that is very appreciated on my end.

  • Thank god they took away the unfair Nintendo hard. To this day I still can't beat the Nintendo version, I am afraid of playing this, because I usually ends shouting at the TV screen... ho ho ho.

  • I also Complete it Hard whit no Damage and Sub Weapons when I was 8-9 Year old I was A Expert for this Game

  • 0:53 when dracula has only 7 digits of life left, he will get a demon-head

    looks cool

  • holy shit, nice

  • how popular is castlevaina in general anyway?

  • Well done! 5/5

  • cool game

  • So Conan won...

  • Hmm, resembles the Dracula in Super Castlevania IV which is ironically also a remake of the first Castlevania, duuhhhhhhh. Just answered my own question. LOL!

  • It's disappointing how easy Dracula was in this game.

  • @jackjackteeth Well, the main challenge in this game is doing everything within the time limit. RoB and other Castlevanias usually didn't have any time limit.

  • Dracula is a pussy lol

  • Why does it look like Dracula is being summoned by a beam of sunlight? Last I checked Vampires were y'know, killed by the sun.

  • @SideSlyGuy Just weakened, but yeah, I see your point. I think they just wanted to change it from white to yellow and got this.

  • @SideSlyGuy Nah he just used solarbeam.

  • Konami, always the same good sound

  • Dracula's first form looked badass. The second one... meh.

  • look the mouth of the 2 form is fucking funny xDDD

  • The battle music is pretty kick ass! :D

  • The way he vanishes and reappeares in laser beams is taken straight out of Castlevania IV.

  • It's kinda become the staple Dracula fight, that.

  • How many wine glasses does dracula have?

  • @T94OWH 9000+

  • @T94OWH It's like he has vampire tourette's or something.

  • @T94OWH OVER 9000!!!!

  • @T94OWH over 9000...

  • @T94OWH Enough to shatter for a billion more years

  • @T94OWH It's pretty much one for each Castlevania.

  • Comment removed

  • @T94OWH as many as he stole from the Ottomans (Referring to historical Dracula).

  • Draula's face changes half way through the battle.

  • Yeah, I've noticed that.

  • lol yeah first he has a demented smile and then it changes to a jock o' lantern face lol

  • Is it just me or did he make this look laughably easy?

  • Wow! This Dracula doesn't mess around! From a classic POV, his first form was pretty impressive gameplay-wise. Fireballs raining DOWN on you rather than TOWARD you, rapid teleportation than earlier incarnations...and don't get me started on that second form!

  • What system is this game for? The graphics are pretty good. Oh my god his head came clean off.

  • You did well dude! I too, have had a flawless victory against this version of Dracula. But only one time. 5/5

  • Dracula gets taller by the game. I'd have a tough time fighting someone thirteen feet tall too.

  • What was the hardest castlevania game?

  • Haunted Castle, for Arcades - you know, it's an arcade :P -

  • Wow. That looked easy.

  • it's called red hair.

  • You'd figure after so many games that they'd change his attacks and forms up(which they have but not much). Well the old 2D ones particularly. Another good rush and the descriptions always give me a chuckle too.

  • the dracula is also pretty much the same from castlevania the origional. he has better graphics in this one though

  • sorry SMWHACKGUY, i wanted to reply to your comment, but i accidently clicked spam instead. His face and attack change from 3 fireballs to 5.

  • This game is a true CLASSIC! I really like the victory music at the end! 5/5

  • the song is amazing what is the name????

  • Goddamned Bathead

  • I love the scream he makes after you kill him in the 2nd form.

  • This Dracula is a pervert, notice how he wiggles his tongue at you in his second form? That's one hell of an awesome taunt...

  • in the 2nd form he looks like he's drunk...

  • That's pretty impressive...defeating all those bosses in castlevania games without taking damage.

  • Dracula's face changes at 0:51

  • That's how you get a whipping!

    LOL!

  • He doesnt seem that hard

  • They're both "retellings" of the original.

  • why does this dracula look so badass looking compared to other versions of castlevanias(i only mean 1st form)

  • this remake is better thsn the old one.the old one its like ur cutting off his head each time u hit it >.> anyway great battle

  • Good job!

I still have this game, I remember I used to play the Original Mode... I could beat the game twice, but couldn't get past Death in the third game. It gets REALLY freakin' hard as you proceed.

  • Simon Belmont... this is a remake of the First Castlevania.

  • Nice job!
