I saw them play this summer, and they did play Stupid Girl, but Scooter sort of apologized for it, saying that it wasn't a song about hating women and it wasn't meant to be offensive. He sort of won me over after that. I LOVE COLD!!!
It's not the label's fault, they (label) are in it for the money and the song had potential to sell as a single more than the other songs in the album.

Some lame "fan" who go into Cold because of Stupid Girl goes and see them on tour this year, after the new record comes out. They play Stupid Girl and the "fan" is happy. So they go out and buy the new record. Now think about it. If Cold DID NOT play that song, the "fan" would prolly be pissy and not support the band anymore. Sucks.

@1CoLd3 cold is still good. they change style each album. did you even hear their self titled album or "a different kind of pain". its different, and stiil cold. give it a chance and i'll bet you still like them.
@gntrihg i have everyone of their song, and the killer and the star....the self titled album was bomb, its sick. a different kind of pain isnt bad but it isnt good either, none of the songs on there are very good, sorta like the killer n star. the year of the spider was the last year of CoLd...

you tube and it isn't him any more. I didn't like year of the spider either, but i would see him live and he was still cold. Buy you know what, around after that time his shows started getting watered down. He doesn't seem to be trippin on the sound at all. Looks like some guy is singing some other guys song... They as a band used to be perfect,in the studio and on stage. ha....(sigh)
@FUNNYTRICK94 confession is one of my favs, i still think year of the spider was pretty good...besides stupid girl. strip her down is one of my other favs.......all i can play is the intro and outro lol...love to learn the rest. Witch is pretty kick ass too, but ti thought scooter wasnt a great live singer? or is it just the quality of the videos?
@1CoLd3 I thought he was super good on live, or at least till the time around the year of the spider came out as i wrote before... my humble opinion... more than if he hits the notes like in the studio, I always look if the band is able to groove and express what the song is trying to say. Oh well... really really, they were the perfect band for me.... ha(sigh). I have to sigh again:) BTW i like its all good and insane. cheers.

i think their music now is way too blurred...there's no clear melody like before

put ghosts and all that to be emotional and sad... he was a great artist(I am not a gothic fan in particular but
he did it so well). At least for me. BTW i ordered

I totally agree with Scooter - Stupid Girl is definitely a more Weezer-oriented song.
But definitely not their best; I fucking love 13 Ways to Bleed Onstage... The entire album is just fucking phenomenal.
