I'm getting sick of this philosophy in America where even a modest tax increase, esp. on the wealthiest who can afford to pay without it hurting them, is "evil" or somehow equivalent to the plague. Look, we need to pay for government! Unless you're gonna cut spending, you're gonna have to raise taxes.

Sure, a few tax cuts pay for themselves, but most of the time, if you lower taxes from, say, 35 to 30% (a modest cut), it's not gonna raise that much more revenue, if at all.

I'm with with grover philisophically. I think we are tax way too much and as individuals we receive far too little. The problem is that he thinks Reagan was a hero, yet Reagan was the most fiscally liberal president ever, until of course GW came around. I don't care with you spend too much on bombs or if you spend too much on schools, you are still SPENDING TOO MUCH!!!

I just asked Grover about this video and what it meant for his organization and the movement. He said it was great because it helped raise awareness to the issue. He also said it was a lot of fun.

Let's hope more Republicans submit questions for the next debate.
