Conservatives and Liberals both have their weak points, and I do see where each side is coming from, but I can't help but feel like there are only a handful if any elected officials that actually give a damn about the people.

To be fair that called from the HP couldn't really be verified either, the difference is (or used to be) that "real" news wouldn't publish unverified news without giant caveats where the bloggers will do so happily.
I love the blogs but keep it in real people, they may not be worse than the MSM but they are not necessarily better either. Not by a long shot.
