You don't have time to screw around with a range finder and all that crap, and if enemy troops are in a building you just light it up anyways.

For example, the 22 billion spent on Osprey's could be used to better our own and conflict countries (cause and effect), than to marginally complete objectives or capabilities superior to that of a chopper/fixed wing aircraft.

@mabraham1 The problem I see with these new weapons, is that they are solely offensive capabilities, and the root causes of conflicts that are not defensive will not be solved with multi-million dollar 40mm grenade launchers. For example, the 22 billion spent on Osprey's could be used to better our own and conflict countries (cause and effect), than to marginally complete objectives or capabilities superior to that of a chopper/fixed wing aircraft.

@AthitJohnson No, because war is a fact of life. As long as there is people, there will be war. Shoot all the soldiers and weapons dealers and you will have civil unrest. No weapons and military leaves countries open to invasion. There would probably be more bloodshed than there is now and instead of soldiers serving by choice, it would be the civilians dying.
