This isn't abuse. This is good for the dog. It teaches the dog to think and its no different than kong toy where the dog has to figure out how to get the food out of the toy. Its better to make the dog work for its food rather than spoiling it all the time. Thats when you start to get behavioral issue.

@mnlouv Dogs don't particularly enjoy sitting or getting their nails trimmed either. Is that animal abuse? Kids play too rough with dogs, is that animal abuse? Dogs are food driven, and this dog was not being abused. This whole lot of you needs to stop being so sensitive and realize there are actual humans and animals that are being abused. Go be outraged at things that matter. Grow up.
