I wrote the song "Still of the Night" for Whitesnake, friends of Def Leppard. The inspiration was the 1982 movie of the same title starring Roy Scheider, Meryl Streep (who Joe Elliott claims to be his favorite actress), Jessica Tandy (the original Blanche Dubois in A Street Car Named Desire which inspired the song Heart Shaped Box by Nirvana) and Joe Srifasi. Joe Elliott discovered me in 1983 at the age of 15.
