It's better to work for yourself than to work for someone else. No worries about losing your job and you get to pick your own days off. It also allows you to see how clever you can be about surviving and thriving in this world. I've been 'off the clock' for over ten years and am truly enjoying my own pirate lifestyle! When I was doing contract work, things slowed down for 3-6 months and I was at home cooking healthy food and cleaning etc.. and I lost so much weight and was in good shape.
Got a full time job with lots of stress and gained weight and health issues, go figure.
My husband lost his job during recession part 1 back in 2008. We had fun, went traveling and spent evenings on the beach. He was unemployed for about 10 months. I wonder how far we are in to recession part 2 at this point.
your right / when i got unemployed my life got real simple and had a great time going almost 2yrs with out a job and now im working again and miserable again with no time to to enjoy life - im either working sleeping or having to go places other people want to do but not what i want to do / but i still have my camper im still living in and wont give it up for the world unless i upgrade
Great video. I completely agree that slowing down and smelling the roses is happiness! Hard to do sometimes tho.. Also, I'm not really a drinker and I have no idea what grog is! What is it? :)
I am afraid there will be a world collapse before we can pull out of this. What do you think? My opinion we are moving way to fast at a dangerous exslerting pace. I have study chaos theory and understand the consequence of imbalance. I am praying to god that this is cost and not the calm before the storm.
@JONATHANvideoRespon Who knows...The human race will survive. We have been through much worse. Will the United States and other economies survive, as they are today? Probably not. Money has become meaningless. We are in the beginnings of a knowledge revolution that will impact the world like the industrial revolution did 100 years ago.
@JONATHANvideoRespon I do agree 110% the human race will survive for a LONG time but like everything that came before has a shelf life giving rise to other opportunity with infinite possibility thinking even on a empty canvas to infinity. This by definition is beyond perfect, it's ART thats truly Infallibility beautiful.
