However, I disagree with the fighting on foreign soil so that we don't have to fight in our homeland. The Iraq and Afghanistan wars are in no way protecting us from attack. Im not saying that the Bible holds a thesis now which would be considered Liberal, but at the time of writing, it told of the rich providing for the poor (equivalent to social welfare beliefs). It asked for forgiveness of crime, it ask for equality for all races. Radically Liberal beliefs in the time of the Roman Empire, in the time of the Feudal system of rule.

~the torah is actually part of the bible.
~catholics are christians.

I agree that soldiers should never be blamed or put down. They put their lives on the line daily and take the job that most could never imagine. However, I disagree with the fighting on foreign soil so that we don't have to fight in our homeland. The Iraq and Afghanistan wars are in no way protecting us from attack. If anything they are angering extremists even more for interfering.
