i had 3 really big like your fish 2 femal 1 male & and later i see them with many small fish and i had no space for them so i had to buy a massive tank for all this babies to be safe and when they were 1 year old i send it to the petstore swap with a turtois and all of them are gone i got now 3 turtoise 6month ago

one questions yesterday i was in walmart and i saw some gold fish that it cost like 38 cents each are those real gold fish? do they grow as big as yours? how many gold fish can i keep in a 5 gallon tank?

@supersanchez1991 You can keep one goldfish in a 5 gallon tank, but not for long before you need a bigger tank. The cheap "feeder" goldfish that you can buy need about 20 gallons each to grow big.

I give you credit for keeping a fish that long. I have the symptom of being able to keep one for only about a year and then trading it in for a different one at the fish stores. I get bored with the same ones very easily, even if it's a valuable flowerhorn or whatever.

Yeah, got it at about 5 cm.

Yeah i got it as a normal small fish, kept it in a tank for a while then a very food rich pond for about 12 years then caught it again and back in a tank. It filters gravel like a vacuum cleaner.
