  • @DavidFrazier100 I will too.

  • Hes a blues guy. It's still shedding

  • Wouldn't call it shredding...

  • I like the clean sound better.

  • @bighotheaddvd he basically would have been destroying the guitar because this amp has a metal speaker cover. these amps are far and away better than line 6's. in my opinion, while line 6 was one of the amp companies to make modeling amps, they are by far the cheapest sounding. if you are looking into getting a modeling amp get one of these or get an orange modelling amp (i personally like these a little better so i bought one, but the oranges are great too.)

  • @westprice Agreed. Also, with the Valvetronix line you're at least getting a hybrid amp as opposed to the Line6 solid state stuff -- certainly not full tube, but the pre-amp circuit makes a noticeable difference...

  • hey! i have that same guitar and stringing it is really weird.....what kind of tuners r those? and r those tuners better than the ones it comes with?

  • You remind me of Stone Gossard! Great playing man :)

  • Oh I do.

  • shtis effenct sound beter than this ... i'll put a video these days...

  • I bet you really drive the crowd crazy at the Senior Center.

  • @GibsonGuitarist1022 I bet YOU drive em crazy at the kindergarden or the shopping center when you're trying to copy all those rock stars you want to be....

  • your good man, but its sounds scratchy to me.....idk if its the audio or its your amp or something maybe... but it sounds scratchy to me!..but good playing!(:

  • One word: Mud

  • too muddy

  • can you hook up a cab to the VT series?

  • yea it has a special port in the back for EXT cabs

  • you can with the external cab output, but its only at the vt50 and the vt100. (8ohm on 50watt and 16 ohm on 100watt)

  • @wijnand55 thx

  • TheFret ftw.

  • nasty

  • Pyuk. What does this guy have the palsy?

  • I just bought this amp but it has a more vintage look instead of this gold his has. Good amps though if you get the floorboard.

  • HA! Good one!

  • so how is the vox vt30 for gigging and metal? Does the footswitch cost alot? Is it reliable on stage?

  • the vox ad30vt-xl is good for metal and the footswitch for it costs around the 70 euro's

  • Thanks! Think I should look into 1? Im about to buy it I think...Or a B 52 At 112 :D

  • i play kinda high-gain grunge and have the vt100, i use it on stage all the time! not had a problem yet =] i mess around with metal stuff all the time and that works rather well too =]

  • @bowd19 shweet

  • Hey, i have a question, does the amp have good distortion, sounds that you can play punk, heavy metal or hard rock with? or should i look for another amp, because im looking for an amp that has good distortion. Thanks

  • this amp has something for just about every thing, you can get really bright and sharp distortions that are great for punk... i sound like a fucking vox salesman lmao!

a great thing about vox is the toneroom on their website, there you can share your sounds and us others sounds to get the most out of your amp. its great! check it out... just google it =]

    happy playing =]

  • @stringsnsticks have you tried the peavey vypyr series?

  • @bngreen89

No. I never really had a chance to try, but the vypyr if im not mistaking has alot of processors on it. I decided I rather have a really good amp without the processors on board. So im staying with my Fender Hot Rod for another long time XD

  • this amp is so terrible, worst thing I ever bought back in the day

  • maybe it's your playing. amp sounds damn good here

  • maybe its his playing?

  • Yeah the 100 is overkill I almost wish i'd saved a few bucks and bought this one

  • That was awesome...I'm picking up the VT50 and the Deluxe Lone Star Strat...it has the SD hum in it which should allow me to play everthing from blues to metal with that guitar/amp combo!!

  • Great playing, I have that amp and am hoping to buy that guitar, but probably with the tobacco burst and rosewood fretboard...I'm planning on selling my amp on ebay and buy a Fender Blues Jr Tweed NOS or a Blackheart Handsome Devil....great tube sounds =)

  • You can really tell the strat has that twangy sound. with buckers that would get some serious sound.

  • parts of this remind me of paul gilbert

  • put a celestion vintage 30 in mine, sounds like gods jizz in amp form. loads more volume, loads more bass response. Best amp models on this: the 2 fender models, particularly the '2x12' and the 2 'boutique' ones. the Marshall 70s one has its moments. crank it with an overdrive and its very tasty.

  • Yeah this amp is overly sick. I almost wish I had gotten the AD100VT, but that's really not necesary. If you need an amp that big, the joint will mic you.

  • i use to have this amp

ended up selling it, back then though i had a crap black guitar...

    got alot more guitars now

i miss my vox:( amazing amp (Y)

  • i used to have this amp, then someone stoll it. now im stuck with a shitty peavey

  • dude i hear you...i got a peavey studio pro from early 90's turn the reverb above 3.5 and it sounds like im in a slinky factory

  • I love the way you describe it

  • shitty peavey?...which model...

  • bandit 112 100watts.

  • i was just about to say...cause the peavey 5150 is my fav amp :P

  • How the fuck does an amp of that size get stolen? =/ I mean a starters backpack amp ok... but a Vox AD50VT?

I have this amp ^^ yeeey

  • I dream of farms

  • this is a really good amp for the price, and i'm thinking about getting it

  • wow! cool. iwant that amp

  • wish i had that strat too hehehehehe....

  • Holy crap, how do you do that with single coils?!

  • that was pretty damn awesome man

  • What are the amp settings when youre playing this (bass, middle, treble)

  • My favorite setting!

  • This setting is great for Guns N' Roses. And on the front pick up its very clear, and very vocal. It's my favourite setting.

  • Just cause your amp has more wattage doesn't mean shit...

  • it's a joke. take one, they're free

  • are you 12 or 13?*******

  • im 14

  • yeah its more a live playing amp...what are you talking about

  • exactly! I bought a 15watt today instead of a 30 watt. only cause the 15 watt was smaller and easier to transport..Cause like I can move my 200w easily -.-

  • i run mine through a linier power booster for solos..makes for a sick combo

  • are 12 or 13?

  • he said he was just kidding dude relax

  • yeaaa...

  • man just go smoke a peace pipe lol u freakin me out

  • haha alright.. gladly

  • have a nice day

  • What's the difference between the AD50TV 1x12 and the 2x12? It has 2 speakers, but what means that ? More power?

  • NOT MORE POWER ! But more output sound ;)

It's not the same, watch it ;)

  • Thanks, yes I think it sounds better than the Spiders I've tried.

  • It would have been so much cooler if, in mind-solo, you turned around and just smashed your forehead into the acoustic guitar, like, "FUCK YESSS I AM POSSESSED BY METALLLL!" Oh well.

  • Maybe I'll try that approach on next video.

  • Sweet!

  • man awesome idea! i am so trying that on a video

  • yes

  • i have only one question about them you can turn off the effects right?

  • have the same vox, its awesome

  • i like mixing this model whit little reverb or delay _the other way the sound like a toy -but you are a great player

  • hey i have a question for you, i have the AD30VT model and it sounds fine though when i play (and especialy palm mute) the E note, the amp makes a loud rattling, or buzzing noise. do you have any idea what this is and how i can fix it?

by the way, great demo on the amp model

  • just the low e?

  • no it was on al lteh es but msotly on low. anyways i got it traded in for a new one

  • Wow! Just fantastic!

Glad to see that you made one video with my favourite amp model ^^

  • Sounds great Shredder!

Now you just have to work on your YJM 360 degree guitar maneuver. :)

  • my favorite channels are the uk 70,ac15tb, us high gain, and tweed.i also like boutique od sometimes. best amp i have ever owned or played.

  • awesome

  • YOU MUST PLAY ALL THE TIME DUDE.......keep up the good work...
