  • They don't make men like Julius now a days.

  • Physics was his business

  • What does he say around 2:30? The force produced the motion in a body of ______ inertia. Please reply--I am making my own version of this video for a school project.

  • "there it is! ..and so, we can be applauded for success!"

  • Anyone else think Billy West used this guy as his inspiration for Prof. Hubert Farnsworth on "Futurama?"

  • all this experiment i love it by you sir! i like it its very usefull and the experiment is true

  • this is the kinda of guy who would be able to explain life in layman's terms

  • This man is completely crazy!

  • professor farnsworth all over

  • the world would be a better place if everyone had the passion and love of life like this man did

  • the experiment did not fail, rather, i failed to meet the requirements of nature... !!!! (CLASSIC)

  • love that he repeated himself just for boys and girls

  • I NEED U FOR MY HW

  • Watch it now...(suspense)...there it is! I broke it!!

    This man is a legend

  • I would have enjoyed science if I had him as a teacher. Well done.

  • god i loved this guy as a kid. i wish the big bang theory would reference him. i would bet that sheldon watched him as a child.

  • @bluehairspaz I think Sheldon would have been far ahead of the basic laws of motion as a kid.

  • what will happen if i kick a large stone in space where there is no forces of gravity etc please tell

  • @waqasaps IT WILL REMAIN AT MOTION AT THE SAME SPEED. BECAUSE THERE IS NO OUTSIDE FORCE ... " AN OBJECT AT REST WILL REMAIN AT REST UNLESS ACTED UPON AN OUTSIDE FORCE AND AN OBJECT IN MOTION WILL REMAIN IN MOTION AT THE SAME SPEED UNLESS ACTED UPON AN OUTSIDE FORCE...

  • @waqasaps it will continue going at the same speed unless a force was acted upon it...in other words it will keep traveling forever at a same speed unless something to have an affect on it

  • @frydtrucker

Not Einstein's brother, just a man with passion for what he knows and teaches.

Wouldn't it be great if schools made that a priority, or even a requirement for hiring someone who will teach the future generations. Someone like this can get the attention and even interest from bimbos and punks who would otherwise pay no attention in classes teaching such important subjects as sciences and maths.

  • I love this guy he is so smart he has problems explaining himself

  • the weight in the middle of the string has a large mass therefore a large inertia and wants to stay still!

when he tries to pull the string quickly the large mass refuses to move quickly so the the bottom string snaps

when he slowly pulls the string he is not asking the large mass to move quickly and the force is transmitted to the upper string which snaps

  • why does the 1st string break when u pull it slowly??

  • i have to watch this for science....part of my hw....LOL -katie

  • wow.......dis video xplains.evrything abt inertia.....a must watch 4 all

  • I love this guy! I have been looking for a while for any of his videos. Now that I've found them, I watch them whenever I can! Watch it now! Watch it!

  • oooo... i love him

  • einstien brother maybe!very interesting.

  • YES! Julius is the best scientist. EVER!

We watch him in science class.

  • This guy is godsent!

  • this guy rocks. wished he was still alive

  • @utnip123 pseudo intellectual shit is pop bullshit. they just wikipedia comic books or some shit.

  • i like the dramatic intro music

  • it's best to introduce yourself twice, in case the audience is senile. ^^

  • i used this for homework :).

  • Just send me a message if you need any help on your physic homework lol,

I'll answer if I have the time

  • wtf, kut dubbel vwo kind, je ziet er wel een beetje oud uit...en kaal!

  • I find his videos very interesting

  • Is he Mad scientist?

  • Imagine if this were as popular as american idol..

  • Yeah, stuff like 9/11 wouldn't sell so well.

  • @NASIMNASIM we would be less fucking stupid!!

  • @NASIMNASIM LOL It was when it was filmed.

  • @NASIMNASIM or jersey shore

  • @NASIMNASIM Suddenly IQs would be raised 40% =D

  • the demonstration with the 2 white blocks was a poor one, because mass is directly proportional to friction the more mass the more friction, the less distance traveled, besides according to newtons second law of motion, the acceleration of the object is inversly proportional to its mass and directly proportional to the force exerted, and it can eaffect the distance traveled on the table, that was a totally poor demonstration, and it can make students think about it in the wrong way.

  • He could easily fix that by putting the block on roller skates.

  • He would have to put both blocks on roller skates, and hit them with the same amount of force.

  • Great demostrations! Rocks!

  • thanx!

  • Yea thanks for the videos...I appreciate it!

  • these videos are great, thanks. :)
