Why's R.U.S.E bad? It's pretty good if you're into that kind of RTS, but I think it's more of a non-existent simulation more than a entertaining game.
@ELementCreator X3 and the rest of the X series are great, though i guess the learning curve on that is kind of steep, which could explain lewis's comment (To be fair, if you did not know what was going on in the X3, it would get old really quickly).

Not to mention, The game is a total bitch to play fighting the grox. The galaxy is full of a ton of wars, and with galactic adventures you can go on the planets personally and fuck shit up.
Lots of games say stuff they cant live up to, infact almost every game makes a huge promise they cant full fill, and like CJtheinvader said, it depends on who you are, not everyone enjoys run and gun and lonewolf gameplay , thats why some people will play Bad Company 2 instead of Modern Warfare 2 or Black ops

general rule of mmorpg, fans are sworn fans and hates any other mmo, the best way to grade this mmo is to simply wait 6 years, and if it still played by 1.5 million people during the day time and .5 million at night and has its own stand 6 years after it came out along side of diablo 2 battle chest and starcraft 1 battle chest, then hell it must be a fucken good game. you probably just love the character designs... which a particular mmo lacks alot of... *twitch*
The visuals aren't that great. They aren't bad, but realize that the entirety of the world beyond the towns is just detail devoid rolling land and it's just tiles copy/pasted and it loses a lot of it's luster.

The people I know in game right now say it is better than during beta, which is all these vids show. Not to mention these reviews are obviously done by two biased wow fanboys. Learn to play an MMO that makes you figure things out on your own.
It basically weeds out the immature nub cakes that infest WoW, they probably wont have the mental capacity or the patience to learn to play this game.
It's all about the macro system with FF anyway.

@Barit555 right, but to chalk the game up as crap just because there are a few kinks/ design flaws "before the game is even released" is just dumb. I'll be surprised if SE doesn't patch a few things before the actual release of the game. Don't forget the people playing with collectors edition keys aren't playing the official release. They are no more than "pre-release" testers unfortunately.

@InfernalJer84 never once did i say it was crap but the game has very many design flaws like that map is just a complete piece of shit and why make a game about leveling and all that shit so u can level for 8 hours a week i understand they want u to try more classes which is all good but why force them to if they dont want to the game is a week before release this is really a demo not a beta anymore square enix made great games like kingdom hearts and some of the ff games they can fix (maybe)

@cheatboy00 If you hate watching a movie instead of playing a game, if you want to play a game where you are constantly alone in an instanced quest line or if you like being totally confused to the point where SE themselves had to put out a strategy guide (knowing they screwed up big time without helping you in game) then you are correct, the game isn't for everyone.

It's a pity it's terribly boring as well. Not as boring as FF14 mind you, but you end up with nothing else to do in Civ 5 but war, unless skipping turns to get buildings done is a fun passtime!
