if u know the chords it would be helpful and a lot easier to explain this. so basically the gist of the strum pattern is that on the first down stroke u have to hammer on. knowing the chords will tell u which to string to hammer on. and on the third down/up pattern u slap/mute all strings and then down up again. that for the first three chords in the verse. the last chord requires some timing. the only way u will get that is trial and error. chorus is just all strums. good luck. =D
