I liked Resistance 1 better a little in the way of co-op offline but co-op online was pretty beast too. REsistance series had bad muliplayer maps. I like the idea of horror/shooting for the next resistance. The level in Resistance with the abandoned neighborhood really creeps me out but its not crazy scary- i love that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Or their explanation for the healing system) Such as when you talk to the Russian scientist who informs you [Nate] of being part of his experiments. The character development during the stages of the story is probably the weakest point of this game, it's like the lack of soul you know what I mean? I know that it is war-centered, but other than that, they should have inserted epistolary theme to it, and other dramatic sequences.
I don't like the alternative story that had happened before the chimera invaded Russia. It should have been like this, follow the same historical line when Hitler had almost the whole continental Europe, and all of a suddenly, that's where the Chimera should have entered. It's like turning Hitler's attention to liberate Europe, making him like somewhat the good guy with the help of the Soviet Union, USA, Japan and other free countries. Allied and Axis powers vs the Chimeran Empire.
Well... considering that Hale got his head blown off at the end of part 2, I don't think we will be seeing him come back. Maybe part 3 will have James Grayson come back.

In the start of the game you go there and your told about the sentinels, your part of a base that gets destroyed and you go off somewhere, at the same time you learn that there are more bases with sentinels. I won't explain it to you further, play the game and actually understand the plot.

I just finished this game yesterday, i was dying to see the ending , i gotta say the end was surprising but somehow predictable about Nathan's fate or maybe inevitable.I loved this one more than the first Resistance everything about this one was awesome the story driven plot, the weapons even the action.I really can't wait for R3.This is one of a series of great franchises on this console.
I think Resistance 3 would be plotted around James Grayson from Resistance Retribution. And yes, Nathan Hale wouldn't be dead, he would come back as a chimera. James would make his way to Russia (where the chimera originated from) to destroy the very first chimeran source, and somewhere along the way he meets up with Hale's squad from Resistance 2. Hale is now the commander of a powerful chimera force and James and Nathan will face off at some point. That's how I would love to see it.

Honestly, the setting for R3 might be what Sheppard referred to during the last boss fight as "the other side." I think the other side was that planet looking thing that formed after the nuke was set off and Capelli asks what it is.
ok guys i been digging some shit up. i think theres a few possibilities. yes it could be capeli and MAYBE hale aint dead. MAYBE Grayson might be the new super soldier hero because he got infected in the end. but it might be a guy named Lieutenant Kenneth Danby. Apparently he was part of the sentinal program with hale and everyone else. but he was "released" from duty and dissapeared off the radar. which the government was attempting to locate him.
The areas where I think Resistance 3 could be placed in is either Africa and Russia, there is really any other regions left. Theres Canada...but what the hell would the put in the "A"...a leaf? LOL, I think James Grayson should come back, they mention that he was going into Russia at the end of R:R. He could be transferred into the PS3, I like James Grayson as a Character. I would like to see a better coop: the levels should be larger and more open, with random spawning units of enemies throughout the map. The current coop is boring after a while because everyone memorizes where everything is.

Your a dumbass, there are more Sentinels, did you even play and understand the fucking plot. In the start of the game you go there and your told about the sentinels, your part of a base that gets destroyed and you go off somewhere, at the same time you learn that there are more bases with sentinels. I won't explain it to you further, play the game and actually understand the plot.

cool. isnt the game like in the 50's? or something like that? would the tein towers be there cuz if they are there might be some controversy just like the 1st one. hopefully there are more bigger and harder bosses i think Resistance brought the Boss battles to FPS.

I just finished this game yesterday, i was dying to see the ending , i gotta say the end was surprising but somehow predictable about Nathan's fate or maybe inevitable.I loved this one more than the first Resistance everything about this one was awesome the story driven plot, the weapons even the action.I really can't wait for R3.This is one of a series of great franchises on this console.

I think Resistance 3 would be plotted around James Grayson from Resistance Retribution. And yes, Nathan Hale wouldn't be dead, he would come back as a chimera. James would make his way to Russia (where the chimera originated from) to destroy the very first chimeran source, and somewhere along the way he meets up with Hale's squad from Resistance 2. Hale is now the commander of a powerful chimera force and James and Nathan will face off at some point. That's how I would love to see it.

@Triforce9426 Not one of my favorite choices. It needs Nathan Hale. People have survived shots to head before. Bigger possibilyty that Hale survives that becouse he is... A Supernatural Alien Thing.. Sort of.. You should even be able to play Nathan as A Chimera. Like his face and body is all Chimera, but his mind is not. Like the bullet was A life saver. Broke the whole Chimera part of his mind. Do you like my idea?

Honestly, the setting for R3 might be what Sheppard referred to during the last boss fight as "the other side." I think the other side was that planet looking thing that formed after the nuke was set off and Capelli asks what it is.

ok guys i been digging some shit up. i think theres a few possibilities. yes it could be capeli and MAYBE hale aint dead. MAYBE Grayson might be the new super soldier hero because he got infected in the end. but it might be a guy named Lieutenant Kenneth Danby. Apparently he was part of the sentinal program with hale and everyone else. but he was "released" from duty and dissapeared off the radar. which the government was attempting to locate him.

The areas where I think Resistance 3 could be placed in is either Africa and Russia, there is really any other regions left. Theres Canada...but what the hell would the put in the "A"...a leaf? LOL, I think James Grayson should come back, they mention that he was going into Russia at the end of R:R. He could be transferred into the PS3, I like James Grayson as a Character. The Heart of Chimera is in Russia I cant imagine what that place is like! High population = tons of chimera! fun fun!

At the end of that game I wasn't thinking Nathan Hale was dead, I mean comeon do you think that a being that just got done pointing at things and having them explode or go flying across the room
(its been a while so I don't remember which of the 2 it was) Do you think a being that can do that kind of shit is going to die from a single bullet to the head, it is beyond ridiculous to think so. Sometimes people have a hard time separating realistic elements from a fictional game.

I would like to see a better coop: the levels should be larger and more open, with random spawning units of enemies throughout the map. The current coop is boring after a while because everyone memorizes where everything is.

natan doesn't die because chimera have regeneration capabilities and besides you only see the gun blast you don't see the brains exploding
Mybe Insomniac fucked with us the hole time and at the verry beginning of resistance 3 you see nathan some how slaping the gun and evoiding the bullet or
