Yes, I agree: the greatest blues singer of all time. His songs are much more interesting and complex than those of B. B. King.

B-O-B-B-Y. Go on and tear up the joint! I have loved Bobby"Blue" Bland's music since I can't remember. One old one that you seldom hear is "Today". Loved the band on that one when I was a kid. My 90 y.o. Pops has some cuts from the early fifties that I am just getting to hear. He and his 103 y.o. uncle can drop music on you that you've never heard before. I'm loving it watching them listening to this music. Always loved the blues, but I've developed a new appreciation for blues from them.

This is one killer song -- maybe my favorite by Bland. I love the bridge where he spells out his name. Intense! Bobby invented the phrase "I Pity the Fool" -- not "Mr. T."
