I wear braces I got them off 3 months later I lost my retainer so will this help because my 2 front teeth spaced will the bands have to stay in all the eat and sleep.
@MyJay6000 Hello. We advise that you wear the bands from 8 to 10 hours per day. You can use them while you are awake or asleep. The bands are not noticeable when they are on your teeth. You do not have to remove the bands while drinking or eating soft foods. If you are eating hard foods (such as bagels or apples) it would be prudent to remove the bands before eating. Replace them afterwards. On a daily basis you can make your own schedule for wearing the bands. Thank you for your inquiry!

Hello! I have a gap in the side of my teeth (on the right side of my lateral incisors) I was wondering if this product would work for me, or would it just create more gaps in the front of my teeth?
@littlemushro0m Hello! The product would not create more gaps in the front of your teeth. That would defeat the entire purpose of the product. The teeth beside your lateral incisors are your canine teeth. These are the sharp teeth on the end of your front row of teeth. We would not advise using the product for the type of spacing that you are describing because you only have spacing on one side of your mouth. ORA-BANDs apply force symmetrically.

@hochrotex Retaining Bands operate under the same concept as a Retainer. When a person concludes their usage of braces they will have to wear a Retainer to keep their teeth in their new alignment. That is exactly what ORA-BAND Retaining Bands do. In the initial phase of usage your teeth will have a tendency to move back to their original positions. After the space is closed we recommend using Retaining Bands for at least 8 to 10 hours per day. @swtlilvi3t This is why we offer two sizes of bands. Narrow Bands bring Central Incisors together. Wide Bands bring Lateral Incisors together. Thus, we offer the Combo Pack for use in eliminating spaces between all front teeth.
@swtlilvi3t Implementation of both of our band sizes is dependent upon the size of the gap to be closed. If you have a smaller gap Narrow Bands would suffice. If you have a larger gap it would be prudent to use the Combo Pack. The Combo Pack includes Narrow Bands and Wide Bands. Narrow Bands will bring in the Central Incisors and Wide Bands will bring in the Lateral Incisors so as to eliminate any new spacing that may be caused by closing the original space.

@MyJay6000 Hello. We advise that you wear the bands from 8 to 10 hours per day. You can use them while you are awake or asleep. The bands are not noticeable when they are on your teeth. You do not have to remove the bands while drinking or eating soft foods. If you are eating hard foods (such as bagels or apples) it would be prudent to remove the bands before eating. Replace them afterwards. On a daily basis you can make your own schedule for wearing the bands. Thank you for your inquiry!

The teeth beside your lateral incisors are your canine teeth. These are the sharp teeth on the end of your front row of teeth. We would not advise using the product for the type of spacing that you are describing because you only have spacing on one side of your mouth. ORA-BANDs apply force symmetrically.

@ratchapp In the initial closing phase we recommend wearing the Closing Bands at least 8 to 10 hours per day. After the space is closed we recommend using Retaining Bands for at least 8 to 10 hours per day. As time goes on you will be able to wane off of using the Retaining Bands and reduce the amount of time that you wear them drastically. Closing the space is the quickest part of the process. @swtlilvi3t Implementation of both of our band sizes is dependent upon the size of the gap to be closed. If you have a smaller gap Narrow Bands would suffice. If you have a larger gap it would be prudent to use the Combo Pack. The Combo Pack includes Narrow Bands and Wide Bands. Narrow Bands will bring in the Central Incisors and Wide Bands will bring in the Lateral Incisors so as to eliminate any new spacing that may be caused by closing the original space.
