wow love the colors but i've just learned to knit anyone know's how to do zig zag knit's for a bedspread blanket? im not so good with purl knit's , knit wrong side or knit yarn over and i would love to make a zig zag blanket one day..

It is very considerate of you to explain all of that; however I would not consider this a how to video as you are merely making suggestions on baby blankets.

It means to get machine washable yarn. Because it being a baby blanket it will get dirty and needs to be were you can put it in your washer without shrinking.

The hearts are just in the pattern. Do you have a ravelry account? If not you should go check it out. It's a wonderful website with TONS of free patterns and it's easy to navigate around there.
