@Laurita852 Do you mean the food gel coloring or the cookies themselves? Either way though, both at room temperature. (cookies in individual cellophane bags).
@pastrychef512 I can't post the link here, but if you go to my blog and click on Tutorials, and then 'Kopykake Projector Tutorial, you'll see all the information you'll need regarding the projector, including a model comparison. Hope that helps!
Your cookies are gorgeous! I love the idea of using transparency paper in this way- I'm just a little concerned about it being food safe.... I mean, I'm sure it is... I'm just curious how you know for sure...? :)
@SugarRokz08 The icing won't dry well in the freezer (there's a lot of moisture in there) - it would actually dry faster at room temperature. Some people put theirs in the oven with just the oven light on or at a really low temperature. I don't do that because I find the colours bleed into each other easier, but if you don't have too many contrasting colours, you could probably do that. Another option - a heat lamp. Hope that helps!
Very cool, you have amazing videos and you are by far the best resource on the net! One tip that may help you on your audio levels. If you tape your video than when you upload it to your computer you can use a program like Audacity (free program) to lay the audio. It will make your audio super clear and you'll have consistent volume levels. I love your videos!
You mention getting the aqua royal icing, do u buy the prepared colored icing or do u make & color your own? I love your videos. Never worked with royal icing but I wanna try!
First of all can I say you are AMAZING!! so talented and your videos and website are very helpful, I have learnt some great tips. In your video I couldn't quite hear what you said regarding what you put on the transparency paper to help the royal icing slide off? it was where you put that stuff on the kitchen paper towl and wiped it on the surface. What is it called please??
I keep them on the baking sheet because they need to be exposed to air to dry. I do find that that the layer of icing helps seal the cookie in for freshness.
Why do u need to wipe the tip? BTW great video. I'm learning a lot tnx

@MsMonica9258 I colour my own. Usually use Americolor food gel colouring. In this case it was Americolor teal.

When you dry your cookies for the 24hours do you store them in something to keep them fresh or just open air dry them?
