  • It seems to me that when composed Italian baroque he was touch and intrusive. The sound was in you face, powerful, you knew that Handel stepped into the room. When he went to England, he started to relax and became more majestic in his mood. Sure his Italian compositions were wonderful and thought provoking, but the English compositions were, in some cases, so soft until you could close your eyes and literally appear at another place and time. What a composer he was.
