Thank for posting this. I am a consitutionalist conservative. Alex Jones and his stupid fucking disciples irritate the living hell out me! He is not the norm and not a true conservative.
@truthersarestoopid I'm more of a progressive, but your view has much of value to it. Alex Jones actually diverts people's attention from the real problems.
Ok when you write your first epic comic book series send me the script and I will start drawing.Cause something good better have come out of you reading all that shit.
I used to enjoy Coast to Coast AM. Even more so Art Bell's original Dreamland. But, it seems to me that the show began to cater to a lot of fundamentalists, arch conservative wingnuts, Christian Identity types and others. I also share your concern that some people may take that nonsense to seriously. I now listen to Roy of Hollywood on KPFK at night. He has conspiracy theorists but they are more erudite and generally of a progressive political bent.
Coast to coast will somtimes have someone of value on, like a Michiu Kaku, etc. Roy of Hollywood and KPFK are great, but sometimes they, too, go off the deep end, imo.
Lol man, I think along with all those books you may have actually read the encylopedias cover to cover too!! Well all I can say is at least you gave the books a chance. I guess as a pretty smart man once told me: "believe as you will"!! Peeeeace!!
And as a trick, some of these books I consider to be very useful. The Robert Anton Wilson books, the Aquarian Conspiracy book, and a couple others thrown in with the "nonsense."
That sounds like a very smart man who said that to you, but don't believe everything he says. I don't. ^_^
I sometimes wonder if the guests really believe what they are saying or if they are just straightforward con-artists...or if some of them really have come across something completely out of the ordinary and are sharing it. But yeah it is shocking how impressionable people are, we often just lazily accept stuff without looking for evidence.
I always have mixed feelings about C2C; it can be silly fun, but it kind of scares me that people take the WTC "controlled demolition" and Moon landing hoax stuff seriously.
I think most guests are sincere, however misguided. A few I think really are con-artists puttng people on for money.
But it also gives a voice to serious science talk with Michio Kaku, Janna Levin, etc.
Have you seen the Alex Jones film 'truth rising'? really make you wonder where all the 9/11 'truth movement' / NWO stuff will lead. I used to believe it to an extent and ironically a C2C interview which Jon Ronsom (the guy who infiltrated Bohemian Grove with AJ) was a big part of me changing my mind
Lol Alex jones is a fear mongerer. I agree, clearly an opportunist. He is so rude to his interviewers and self righteous. He thinks the "ruling elite" are communists. I wonder what your political ideology is.
I'd say my political ideology is basically liberal. Victimless crimes, and things like marijuana should be legal. We do need government, but it would be better if those with vast wealth, and the giant corporations, didn't have so much influence on politicians.
As part of Operation MindF**k, you'll notice that I mixed in some serious, valuable books: Robert Anton Wilson, of course. The Aquarian Conspiracy, Bill Moyers.
You know I heard that books like that have been innoculated with paramecia harvested from the C51ZQI supernova, yeah they invade your brain and cause extreme caffeine addiction. Beware Steve!
There's a new conspiracy uban myth going around: inside those digital tv converter boxes, people have found tiny cameras and microphones -- so the government can spy on people with tv antennas -- because those are obviously the people most likely to rebel. It must be true, I've seen the vids on YT...! ;)
hahahahaha, I love this post! All this craziness: Annunaki, Pleadians, Reptilians...mmm, show me one, ok. Elite power control systems for manipulating the masses, whatever you want to call 'em...well, hasn't that always been the case...it's called history...it's about power on Earth.
Thanks, alchemistra! Yes, all that nonsense distracts people from the real problems to deal with: concentration of wealth, influence of lobbyists, global warming, the conflict of cultures and religions, the effects of technological change, etc.
Yep, lots o' books. Many subjects, eclectic... Mythology, philosophy, psychology, mysticism, postmodernism, pop culture, media, comic books, er graphic novels. Science Fiction/Sci Fi, Charles Schulz's Peanuts. And that's only on the bottom shelf! Heheh. ;)
Well there is the rich, powerful class, with too much influence; concentration of corporate wealth, multinationals with their powerful lobbyists. But it depends on what you mean by "control." The NWO is a myth, caused by fear of the global civilization that is forming -- which is a good thing. No conspiracy of a One World Government, that's nonsense and a waste of time.
The WTF stuff is the inane conspiracy beliefs which quite a few people actually entertain... it's all over YT, for example.
Thank you! :D Yes, it covers a lot of subjects, eclectic, as I have a variety of interests. I can tell you must have a wonderful library, too -- you are obviously very well read.
Yes, David Icke is the lizard-alien-illuminati guy, yeesh. Alex Jones is another one, always ranting that every administration is about to institute a New World Order. Riiiight, lol.
I have a serious video about Why -- psychologically, sociologically -- I think people are attracted to these beliefs: "THE Conspiracy Revealed."
Man, you're on fire! Still, what about the end of the world accordin to the Mayan Calendar, what about anti-Creationism, the 1968 Moon landing Fraud and the benefits of organic sasparella? Could it be also true? LOL
It's good to hear from you again, keep us posted! :)
The Mayan calendar date of 2012 is the end of a cycle -- not the world.
I hope you are kidding about the Moon Landing -- there's tons of obvious evidence -- but some people strangely doubt it. Okay, I'll keep you posted on all this! ;)
Hello Steve, I know Mario is joking about the moon landing, but my father was 67 at that time, and with many of is old friends believed then that it was cinema, no joke! I have to admit if you where born when automobile wasn't invented yet, it' can be a bit hard to sawallow a moon landing lol! But Elvis is still alive!!!;-)!
But Steve! If I donLt see it, I don't know it lol! Yea I'm talking about my spelling not the moon landing. Hey I was already a trekie so there weren't any more impossible frontiers to be broken. I remember I was working the graveyard shift in a " A Go-Go plastic lamp shades companie'.
The moon landing really took our attention away from Vietnam for a while. Ha! Desinf..Informations!;-)!
Okay, Guybou, then I'll cut Mario some slack, lol. That's interesting about his father, I can see where it would seem like an incredible event.
I find it sad that so many people doubt that it really happened -- three Apollo 1 astronauts died on the ground. All the dedicated scientists, etc. -- I just think this nonsense distracts people from dealing with reality -- such as why so much of the world is mad at America, Iraq and Afghanistan, Global Warming... and where the heck Elvis is!!! D
Hi Steve, it was my father not Mario's father, he's not that old lol! But as I remember many people of is age had some problem accepting it as true And when I look back at it ,they wheren't that stupid to question it when it happen, cause the all media diffusion and specialy the TV image of it was really not as perfect as today. And that's without talking about their lack of Modern sciences. But after few months most septic got enough information about it. Yea the earth was really round lol!
Actually, it has been said that these astronauts had to cross the radioactive Van Halen Belt, wich is deadly to humans. Furthermore, many Moon pictures were taken with the same hills in the background, but alledgedly in different spots!
But, hey, who could doubt that small step now... :)
Oh, Mario, Mario... ; / The Moon is ten times higher than the Van Allen -- Van Halen is the rock band ;) -- radiation belt, and the spacecraft passed through the belt in only 30 minutes. They were protected by the aluminum hull.
Even Dr. Van Allen, the discoverer of the belt, rebutted this claim. They carried radiation meters. Actually, many of the Apollo astronauts have developed early stage catacracts, due to some exposure.
And all different mountains in the background as they walked.
lol! Hey Steve, Mario is pulling your leg! But as I told him we always blame a Rock and Roll Star for any problem even going to the moon...Van Allen rule's dude!
Are you sure? I hope so! Van Halen, indeed... Pink Floyd explored the Dark Side of the Moon, and David Bowie was a Space Oddity. And in the classical field, what about Holst's The Planets?!? ^_^
Yea Steve, you have to understand that knowing Mario's, that this comment and reply is putting a smile to my face.. He is even a better funny Devil Advocate then I am lol! And about music there is also 'Thus spoke Zarahoustra! Hey 2010..Everything's gonna be wonderful ;-)!
I llike your "Penis" cup! dude! keep trying to watch your video, and I know that I haven't produced anything more than a test video of my cats ( how pathetic can you get?) but I need to do SOME thing.... But I need to watch you when I am not so "high" from creating "ART", you know, the kind that no one cares about!
LOL!
:)
I think you rock Steven or stephen, whatever, please. lets have lunch at the Coral Cafe... this week, mebbe?
Sometimes I'll be looking up something, then get distracted by other entries -- serendipity -- and take an hour to get back to what I was looking for, lol.
The Marialiveshere Conspiracy is so far-reaching, so complex, nay, so nefarious -- that it made my sanity slip (even more) and so I had to destroy all references to it. It has something to do with an army of female clones, with blonde wigs, and chocolate eyes. *Shudder* Wait! What is--
InfiniteLoveinEmajor, Of course there are real conspiracies: Watergate, Iran Contra, Bush's supposed Weapons of Mass Destruction, for example.
But the unrealistic ones, such as the idea of "controlled demolition" of the World Trade Center, distracts us from dealing with the true motivations of those involved.
Yeah, I think a lot of Maxwell's goofy ideas are in that popular Zeitgeist video. Maybe there's a 12 step program for coffee addicts... ;) Thanks! ^_^
I have to give credit to the ones who creatively craft their imaginations. Many whom leave wane their catharsis over small bumps in the sand and scatter text such to make the bump larger & house-able to ants.
What motivates a pyramid builder is certainly different than those whom enjoy adding to a pile.
Ha ha ha! Steve you really did a jewels here! How can I be grumpy after watching you video??!..I can't! I got to smile!..Cause if ever they find out I know what's going on they will send the pizza delivery man with an all-dressed conspiracy and mushroom pizza!! And wasn't Peanut a Illuminati??lol!
Love your acting and editing, priceless! In my Fav! I love it!
Guybou, I'm glad to give you a rest from being grumpy! Just keep a wary eye on any Men (or Women) dressed in black -- other than Johnny Cash. If you hear voices in your head, maybe you can set them to music. ;0
Charles Schulz's Peanuts manipulated the minds of an entire generation! Oh, Good Grief!
Umm... (blushes), ...in high school, the late 70's, I read the Illuminatus Trilogy -- a satire on conspiracies. And then became interested in them for real. I briefly did believe in some of them for a while. Of course, I now know they are 99% b.s. -- hence the serious vid I did on this subject.
To be playful, I mixed in some actually valuable books here: the Bill Moyers on Iran Contra -- a real conspiracy. The two Robert Anton Wilson books. The Disinfo Book of Lies by Richard Metzger.
Why are they exposing my family?

starwarsagent 1 year ago
@starwarsagent I listen for three reasons:
1. To understand some of the irrational things some people believe in.
2. To sometimes catch the serious and rational guests, such as Michio Kaku, Jenna Levin, Michael Shermer, etc.
3. Pure entertainment value.
You are probably one of those people who only listen to sources you agree with, and therefore never have to challenge your own beliefs.
Thanks for commenting.

When the economy collapsed, he claimed it's the Illuminati rulling-elite's plan.
He says President Obama is a "puppet."
And now with the Swine Flu, he's claiming that it was genetically engineered so as to lower the population. Nonsense!

even if 10 % of the conspiracy stuff is true, we still have huge problems to face

hmmm....lets assume closer to say 0.001%

Touche'. :)
StevenErnest 3 years ago
InfiniteLoveinEmajor, Of course there are real conspiracies: Watergate, Iran Contra, Bush's supposed Weapons of Mass Destruction, for example.
But the unrealistic ones, such as the idea of "controlled demolition" of the World Trade Center, distracts us from dealing with the true motivations of those involved.

lol, you're hilarious Steven

Thanks, Az! According to the Necronomicon, you're the personification of the daemon of absurdity. ;)
The word grimoire is related to grammar.

You forgot Jordan Maxwell hehe (^_^) You really went all out on this one! I've said it before, but DAMN thats a lot of books!
Maybe you should consider switching to de-caf lol
Great video!
crazycat1984 3 years ago
Yeah, I think a lot of Maxwell's goofy ideas are in that popular Zeitgeist video. Maybe there's a 12 step program for coffee addicts... ;) Thanks! ^_^

I have to give credit to the ones who creatively craft their imaginations. Many whom leave wane their catharsis over small bumps in the sand and scatter text such to make the bump larger & house-able to ants.
What motivates a pyramid builder is certainly different than those whom enjoy adding to a pile.

Don't inflect the word who to whom when not called for. Just saying.
MaBu888 3 years ago
aren't there several other grammatical errors you can pic out of that comment.. It's as fun as where's waldo

LOL yeah... it happens.

Lulzation has occurred.

Hey, dos! Yes, I don't completely condemn people for having active imaginations, and creative speculations.
Texts can be built upon texts creating a house of cards. Many are noble truth seekers. We must question the established views. Thanks for commenting!

In my Fav! I love it!
Boucrate 3 years ago
Guybou, I'm glad to give you a rest from being grumpy! Just keep a wary eye on any Men (or Women) dressed in black -- other than Johnny Cash. If you hear voices in your head, maybe you can set them to music. ;0
Charles Schulz's Peanuts manipulated the minds of an entire generation! Oh, Good Grief!
Thanks for the cool comment! ^_^

My only question is WHY do you own this stuff yourself?
2bsirius 3 years ago

I loved this video! I needed a big laugh...
It's in print. It must be true!
Wish I had 1/2 of 1% of all the money that been spent on marketing this stupid stuff...
5*s and favored!

Are you related to RU Sirius...? He used to publish and write for the magazine MONDO 2000. In the '90s, seriously.
