I put treats in bottles or rubber balls with little holes. She get's old logs to tear up too. Her food is simi-solid ground meat based(most feed a liquid). So she tears little bits off the lump of food I put out and it is more natural as you say to claw at it then eat than to just sit and drink a liquid food.

Unlike my cat who actually eats my plants if i don't lock them away! Ketchup cool.. is she able to eat solid foods? i never thought that anteaters could.. lol

She loves ketchup. I don't think I've tried giving her a whole tomato but Stewie liked them. She was just having fun playing in the dirt.
