dude, i just found a way to play your umd games in your memory stick. you need cfw for that and it is slow. but i found a way how to play your umd disks in your memory stick and fast (cfw needed). when on psp main menu, press the select button. a little menu should pop up. now, go to usb and put umd disk so you can access the umd disk and copy it's content to your memo stick. hope it helped.

Oh, where's another way to do that.

1. Go to the XMB

2. Press select

3. Change the USB Mode setting to UMD Drive

4. Go into USB mode

5. It will say, 'ULUS *****'

6. Open it and there should be an iso

7. Copy the iso to your desktop and then reset it to Memory Stick via VSH (step 2)

8. Copy the iso to your iso folder.

Guess how I found this out? I EXPERIMENTED!!!

why are so many people having problems with custom firmware? you honestly think sony would allow you to just download games and copy them right onto your memory stick? you need to change how the psp sees games (firmware) completely. Anyways, I know this video is old, and I've done this many times (great tut btw), but later firmwares (m33) have an option in the boot menu to set usb device to "umd disc", so when you plug in the usb, you get the iso file. Just copy it onto your pc.

lol, for all the people who complain that it says the data is corrupted.

he clearly states in the video that you NEED CFW (custom firmware) if you dont know what cfw is look it up, and some small advice: no psp ever comes preinstalled with CFW, you have to install it yourself.

p.s if u have cfw but its still says its corrupted, then i dunno what ure problem is, my advice to you then is to mabe try a hombrew enabler.
