  • great video. very helpful. and nice website too. boston sports are the best

  • Nice job! I was at the Albert Hall when this was recorded (5/5/2005), so close to the stage that I could have spat in Jack Bruce's ear. This was one of the most awesome pieces of Blues playing that I'll ever hear in my entire life. That Robert Johnson turnaround just fits right in there. Goes to show what EC can do when he really tries. Personally I think he needs to play in a 3 or 4 piece band so he@s always got someone pushing him; Just listen to how Jack Bruce gets the best out him on this.

  • He doesnt just use the minor pentatonic...He mixes it with major notes from the Chords...it`s not that simple as you show there.

  • Dude, 3:12 that ditty you love, did you know that's a Robert Johnson intro/turnaround lick, robert Johnson being Clapton's favourite Blues guitarist. Try also trilling from the flattened third to fourth then back, ending by bending the flattened third to a major third, very Clapton. In tab for key of C:

    e

    b

    g 8h10p8b9

    D

    A

    E

Check out also 777user's version of this tune, great stuff. Your vid was awesome too, very tasteful and informative, well done.

  • The chords and intro helped a lot! Thanks!

  • Really great vid there :) Too bad you just have the recorded background music, but still. Great job. Hope I'll learn something from it.

  • Not to shabby dude. Great song to learn, nice feel to it.

  • pretty nice
