When I saw Masha live, I thought she was Elena Lev who lost all of her gracefulness... This girl is good and all, but she's nothing to Elena :)

I like Masha better, because I think that she gives a little bit more. For instance, has Elena ever worked with a ribbon AND hoops? Or ever done an oversplit like the one at 1:40? or controlled five hoops like at 3:20? I mean, I love Elena very much but I think that Masha has a snidge more "oomph" to the act

@ConfusifyingCristy Elena has done an oversplit.. And she did control five hoola hoops, or around that number i guess.. But Masha has worked with ribbons but that doesn't mean I like Elena or Masha more..

@ConfusifyingCristy I guess you've never seen Elena Lev in Alegria have you...she has in fact done an oversplit!  Question is, have YOU worked with Hoops and Ribbon at the same time to judge either women? Their both good, let's just put it at that!

@Freakgrl04 yes I have worked with hoops and a ribbon at the same time while doing an oversplit and several other things! I'm a rythmic gymnast! I wasn't saying that Masha was better than Elena or vise-versa. All I was trying to say was that in MY opinion that Masha seemed more energetic. I haven't seen Elena but I certainly have seen Masha live.

@ConfusifyingCristy Watch the other person BEFORE you judge! Elena is a highly acclaimed Russian Rhythmic Gymnast! And her mother was one also! You sound like a typical teenager, judging things before you actually sit down and analyze them...I suggest you watch Elena perform, she is SO talented!

I've seen Cristy train her bum off and stretching like a rubber band at the gymnastics centers for probably 6 years, and destroying the house with the hoops and the ribbons. After all the experience that she's had, she just thinks that Masha has more control on hoops than Elena. Have you seen Elena spin two hoops on each arm while spinning one with her foot and one with her knee?

They utterly DESTROYED the act. There is no way to intergrate the ribbon into the act adn make it look good unless it's a promo shot for an ad.

And Elena Lew looks like she knows what she's doing on the ground. This girl looks like she keeps hesitating.

yes, that was nice. i have always wanted to see that version of the act, because her picture is on the cover of the dvd, but she is not in it; elena lev is. nice to know what it was like, im sorry she messed up right at the end, she screwed her last toss.. good job tho!!

I like how Masha combines ribbon elements with the hoop elements. That is what makes this act "hers" because Elena only did hoops. Elena is very talented too, but this is a different act for the reason stated above and that Masha does make it her own.

you have to consider that it is not the entire act but just a part of it when some artists went to brazil while touring in paris, france. the entire act is simply amazing especially the last figure that she does not perform here! It is worth elena's routine ... I can't say one is better than the other, it is about taste
