  • He is like Peter Pan, an eternal child, he doesn't wanna grow up in this bad, mad world.

  • those notes really speak, they really tell something deep. They will make you cry. The simplicity of the title is Buckethead magic touch. When you listen to that, you can't escaping missing your parents. And Life is so beautiful :)

  • It is ok to say that this is a messy song? Only because im experiencing eargasms at regular intervals....

  • 43 people ether have no emotions, never knew their parents, or are robots reedy to destroy the earth but likeliness buckethead would let them is very low.

  • Buckethead is one of the very few artists that put actual emotions in his songs, then he gets bashed by douchebags that understand the tone, not all song are just about the number of notes you can hit in a second or how fast it is, its about the emotion that are put into them

  • people! disliking the video doesn't mean disliking the song. when are you going to understand?!

  • @JonathanLindroos u dont come here to watch a video, its to listen to music

  • if a song gives you goosebumps (i.e. this one), you know it's stellar.

  • i started to hear this song but then i started to tear up so i changed it because my friend was watching tv next to me.

  • I Love My Parents is beyond amazing. time to listen to Cannibal Holocaust

  • I think Buckethead is the only artist who is SO grateful to everyone who's helped him become who he is!

His songs are dedicated to a lot of people!

His parents --> i love my parents

    Aunt Suzie (R.I.P) ----> Soothsayer

The Homing/Landing Beacon ---> Michael Jackson

    Jordan ----> Michael Jordan

Last Train to BucketheadLand ----> Johnny Sokko and Jerry Mano from Giant Robo (tokusatsu)

    For Mom ---> his mom

Dimebag Tribute song ---> Dimebag Darrell..

    And sooo many more!

  • hold on a sec while i dry away my tears......

  • I was told that my Grandfather passed away today. I never got a chance to tell him how much he meant to me, or thank him for the gifts he gave. I've written a thank you card for my Grandmother. Remember, all of you, tell your family how much you love them. You might not have forever to do so.

  • Thank You Buckethead .. thank you , because you make me cry and clean my heart ;D

  • Useful to me - thnx . will try a second time oneday soon - will remember this forever . every note

  • i love this song ,my parents are divorsed but i still love them and they still love me. i would be nowhere without the and when i lose them i wont know what to do with myself. everybody be thankful for their parents because their the only ones you get and for the people that have lost them,i dont know what it feels like but people will be there for you

  • The comments on here are so awesome. Brings me joy to know there are people out there who think and feel just like I do. I love all fans of Buckethead

  • I don't understand how people could unlike this song; it's emotional, sad, and really moves people. To be honest, I feel really sorry for everyone who lost their parents. I still have both of mine and even though I may act like I don't, I do really love them and I don't know what kind of person I'd be if they weren't always there for me.

  • @lafawafa couldn't agree more bro

  • anyone else notice the Yngwie Malmsteen book @ :30??

  • My dad passed away a couple days of go on Christmas day & listening to this song made me realize I don't have his voice saved some where. I'll never again get to hear it & now its like I don't know what it sounds like, & I'll never really know.

  • @lilbaird13 i know me to the same thing . only sadly we lost touch for about 7 years and he was ill with lung cancer and i didnt know.strangely i was told by somebody who knew him through my grandma and they called me. a lady very old told me he passed and i collapsed in shock. i did get to go to his funeral atleast.he was a marine and they were there and it was very hard to stay calm i too barely remember his voice i hope you fel better right now im a mess

  • It's just beautiful :'). I hope I won't ever lose my parents!

  • I don't believe in God...but sometimes...when I listen to this song...I think wow...how can there not be one? All of this beauty, and my parents, and my life...and this music. Surely it would be impossible without Him. I still remain confused, though. Either way, this song is just incredible and brings back the fondest memories of my parents. I can't wait to see them again in 8 months..

  • krásna skladba--------love--♥

  • the advertisement at the start totally destroys the mood :\

  • i truly love my parents and buckethead.... im never gonna forget that one time when i was 12 and i was at his concert and he gave me a present and knuckle bumped me... :)

  • 43 people doenst love there parents..

    Poor people...

  • AH man I really feel for all you people who lost your parents I still have mine and I love them so much but im watching them get old and I dont know what I would do if i lost either one of them But until then I get the chills when I see an "R.I.P mom and dad " God bless your parents and the love and care they gave u. I hear more and more storys of people who had bad relationships with their parents, well let me say ,not me! or shall I say, not us !

  • 43 dislikes? Da Fuq, normally I wouldn't be saying shit about dislikes, but really? This is a MASTERPIECE, Not a huge fan of Buckethead I like his work, but this is brilliant.

  • Buckethead is a true inspiring guitarist, that allows our inner emotions to develop, and exceed, when we couldn't express them ourselves. We always must charish our parents, regardless of Hate at that moment. We have all been gifted life. We must charish our parents for that gift, and that gift alone.

  • I don't remember my birth parents, because I am adopted, but I miss them like I would miss my adoptive parents. I saw only 1 picture of them, holding me. This image returned to my mind upon hearing this. I am crying, but not tears of sadness.

Thank you, Buckethead, for bringing the memory back.

  • Amazing!

    An interesting and incredible masterpiece.

  • This song has such a positive vibe to it, seeing all of these comments makes me want to cry almost all that Ive seen give me faith in myself. The reason being I know their are other people out there that I know shares so many of the same feelings that I do. God bless

  • Buckethead you make my life worth living and that friends and family will all eventually die and the the thought of that tears me apart but keep close to loved ones and dont ever forget them

  • I felt his sadness when I heard this. Sometimes music speaks louder than words ever could.

  • Why does someone so talented hide his identity? He should be proud of his work and who he is.

  • @petedogg369, The mask is to hide his face, so we focus on his music, which is what he is proud of...

  • I LOVE THIS SONG! Just magic, it is so beautiful........

  • 1) Play the song

    2) Put your headphones

    3) Close your eyes

    4) Remember all the greatest moment you spent with your parents

    5) Enjoy

    6) Open your eyes, dry your tears

  • @NicolaLindroos my parents are still here, but I still feel sad listening to this, thinking of what I will do without them wont be the same...

  • @snakev10v5 that's true!

  • @NicolaLindroos Yeah, that did it. :,)

  • @misterdeadhead i know right

  • I love how this song says so much but yet not a single word is said in it.

  • I love my parents i am willing to die for them..!!<3

  • I love my parents <3

  • I love my parents.

  • i feel this graceful music by this amazing artist should be reconezed all over the world. its just the music that brings all of us together. and at one time we could all just have peace with one another. We wouldnt have to worry about war anymore and the pain that comes with it. its just the music that touches the soul. In a way its like each and every part of his songs are all like an emotion everyone should experience.

  • Who....the FUCK Dislikes this??!

  • @TheProSwede Ppl who don't wuv der momma and daddeh. :(

  • I'm going to delete all the other music on my ipod and fill it with nothing but buckethead. That's how much his music fills me.

  • i love this song, i love my life, love my whole family and i will admit that this song made me realise about how lucky i am, not a single word said, only what Buckethead was feeling. Beautiful music!

  • The hands that crafted this beautiful, emotion filled music, handed me a grabbit toy, for ages 3+ on October 13th. Thank you buckethead for your amazing gifts, physically and musically.

  • bach and buckethead are the only musicians that ive ever wept to while listening to their music--to me, that says alot.....

  • I love you from the bottom of my heart...Buckethead

  • I can only say that i love you Buckethead :')

  • my mom died 3 days ago this is everything im feeling right now ::) thanks buckethead R.I.P mom

  • @chancewmanley Really?

  • Buckethead only proves emotional is best displayed through actions, and not words.

  • How in gods name can you not like this!!!??

  • fuck this song.. always makes me cry:'(

    Buckethead is the best! speed,emotion,metal...everything

  • Buckethead wrote this song when he moved away from his parents for the first time to embark on his music career and he missed them and it just poured out from his heart. His parents are still alive and well.

  • @Thoronos93

Thank you, I spoke them from the heart as any other person who truly cherishes their parents would.

    @DethKubeK

My pleasure friend. Stay strong and right in this world so you can meet them proud and with your head held high in the next one. :)

  • I miss you Mom and Dad....So much... <3

  • I lost my father at age 12, and to this day, 12 years later, I still recall all the days I sat by his grave under the pouring rain. Yet I cannot remember his voice for the life of me.

Through this song, even if I don't remember it pitch clear, I get as close as I'll ever be, for my father's voice was as soothing and embracing as this melody. Always cherish your parents, though their love for you is eternal, the moments you call tell 'em "I love you" are not. R.I.P. dad, I miss you...

  • @ShadowofaManiac those words are touching.

  • @ShadowofaManiac Thanks bro for sharing....Much Love.

  • Sucks to be an orphan...

  • Buckethead, you speak beautiful words through your guitar. I love your parents..tell them I said thank you for you.

  • the 43 people taht doesn´t love their parents are like a rock they are stupids that dont appreciate their parents

  • How can a person not like this. How can a person not understand the beauty of this song. Whoever doesn't like this must be a monster. This is what true musical art is.

  • what album is this from???

  • @MrMurdoom i believe it's from Bucketheadland

  • @MrMurdoom This version is from Giant Robot, however, there is another version on Bucketheadland, which is shorter, but still basically the same thing, minus the orchestra.

  • @MrMurdoom its in Bucketheadland, Giant Robot, and Giant Robot NTT. This one is from Giant Robot though. The others dont have the violin outro and i think the NTT one has a voice sample intro from Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

  • Yup. buckethead has touched every emotion i have

  • @chubuke Big B touched my Mom. It was a very special touch. lol

  • Buckethead tought me to love the ones closest to me before I lose them. He tought me that I am fortunate to have two loving, caring parents. He tought me to stand up for others who arn't as fortunate as me. He tought me so much and he didn't have to say anything. I think the mask is a representation. It represents an average person who can change the lives of others. The bucket represents his diversity, and that he's not afraid to be diffrent. Buckethead, you are the best. Thanks for everything

  • @Kid12Ghost man no joke, i cried when i read that.

  • Comment removed

  • @Kid12Ghost Well said. Buckethead TRULY taught me to not judge people by their looks. I hope I can one day tell him in person how he has affected me.

  • @Kid12Ghost couldnt agree more bro

  • @Kid12Ghost You're thinking too much about it.

  • @grunthunter44 I doubt he's called Buckethead for nothing.

  • @Kid12Ghost Maybe because he wears a bucket on his head? .-.

  • @grunthunter44 Yea, but my point is, anyone can put a bucket over his head and play guitar, but Buckethead had a reason for doing it as I have previously explained. Understand?

  • @Kid12Ghost Lol I understand were you're coming from, but I don't believe the bucket signifies a meaning as deep as you believe, like I feel that Buckethead wears that stuff just because he's incredibly strange and eccentric, and not that he's trying to prove some point or give out a life lesson to people. But idk that's just my opinion lol

  • I Just Have 3 Words

  • @snk07 i got tears on my eyes because i cant remember anything :c

  • From which album is this from? Why's the one I have only 2:39 long? The album's name is Giant Robot (NTT) and I have no wtf this low quality thing is. Help?

  • @zetsushoren The shorter version is on Buckethead's first album, Bucketheadland. This longer version appeared on his second, Giant Robot.

  • Can anyone tell me if it's Buckethead who plays all the instruments on this song?

  • @GNFR1202 maybe, but in the wikipedia-colma article says that Terry Untalan plays the cello and viola on "Wondering" and "Lone Sal Bug."

  • ITS MAKING ME CRY BUT IM NOT CRYING!?

  • 42 orpans listened to this video.

  • @deDqq2Hu what are orpans?

  • @TornPaperYoyos "Orpans" are like "muggles" in the Harry Potter world, only instead of being non-magical types, "Orpans" are people who "don't understand Buckethead." Now, let's all turn to page 364 of your Book of the Bucket, and we will begin our next lesson. ;-)

  • Beautiful

  • 40 People deserve to die in fucking hell.

  • @xErlendr 40 people dont love their parents i guess

  • @xErlendr but.. Wouldnt they die THEN go to hell? You must be a girl. Only girls are dumb.

  • @Sleepingpillz ur sexist. and no girls are the smart ones guys are the dumbasses thats why u see guys have the strength and girls have the brains, this obviously proves ur dumbfuck boy. moron.

  • @ElecGtrGrl hMM.

  • @ElecGtrGrl What, are you eleven? You're also being sexist. Albert Einstein was a male, as was Albert Hoffman. I know a lot of brawny girls and guys. I, myself, got the top mark on my English exam, and I'm a male. Of course, there are a lot of smart girls as well. One more thing, think about peace and love, man. This is Big B, and he deserves respect, especially for a song like this. Please stop disgracing him by arguing.
