But Jesus said on the cross "IT IS FINSH" At that moment every sin had been taken care of past persent and future but not only where we forgiven for every sin w are ever going to do or have done. On that day we became worthy of heaven.
@MyBloodblade Thats not true, when Jesus said "It is Finished", He meant that now human race has a way to find redemption. The thing is if you are truly saved and truly have a life with Christ, that means the Holy Spirit in you are going to bring to memory what have you done bad, and day by day, you will become more and more similar to Him. If you havent changed, so most likely, you've never been saved at all.
When you know your identity in christ you walk in true freedom. And its an exciting and awesome journey. God gives us the strength to resist temptation and the holy spirit draws us. If you turn from God then you are believing a lie about yourself about God or the church.
I know someone who served him in a flagrant way, by joining a cult where they thought of him as master. I mean they even had a Satanic Bible, which I didn't know existed until she told me about it and showed me one.
She did that when she was a teenager. Now she doesn't know if she can be forgiven for willingly dabbling in something like that.
IDK the answer, like how am I supposed to know?
I'm hoping someone who reads this will know and tell me, then I can tell her the answer.
@vickiormindyb If she truly wants to follow Jesus, He will definitely forgive her. Romans 3:23 says"All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." So she's not a "worse sinner" than anyone else. Even the Apostle Paul had a past sinful life, where he persecuted & killed Christians. And God saved him and then used him to write over half of the New Testament!
God will not hold her past against her either. In fact, He LOVES her so much that He sent Jesus to take the punishment of her sins!
[continued] Romans 8:12 says, "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more."
So yeah, He will COMPLETELY wash away her sins, and it's not because of what she has done or will do...it's all because of what Jesus did on the cross =]

@vicki
of course the Lord can forgive her. not only can he, but he already has. that's exactly what his death on the cross was for
"For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God." (1 Peter 3:18a)
"In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace." (Ephesians 1:7)
"I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more." (Isaiah 43:25)

I love his "discreet Satan" impersonation. Sounds so much like the one we deal with everyday.
