  • I watch trains when i have the time and i've never caught an NS train anywhere. Actually I have no clue as to where active NS lines are. I'm in lima and the line here is dead(1 train a day and doesn't have a scheduled time). Dayton is the next closest line but I never see or hear them when I'm there and my sis lives about a mile from the tracks. Can anyone point me to where some active NS lines are at nearby me. I'm kinda tired of seeing CSX on the 2 active lines they have running through here.

  • I think so. This was my first time to Ohio, so I wasn't familiar with the railroad lines, but I think this line goes to Sandusky.

  • Was that on the Sandusky District?

  • No joke...that's why we made a special trip off the highway to the nearest railroad crossing to get this rare treat! :)

  • WOW! A NS Dash 9-40CW running long hood forward, now Thats rare.
