@Santi2c i'm no expert but i've picked up my horn again and i've two things in mind playing relaxed but with a clear tone. i don't want to say this is the only "classic" sound but as far as what might be considered commercially appealing that's what i've been going for. so i've been play long tones and also using the pedal tones to remind me to keep playing relaxed. just switched to monette and the mouthpieces reward you immediatly. they just require more support and can be hard for some people
@Santi2c its not the low part of the note, its the center. it just so happens that most people are hitting the high end of the note. you wont be flat as long as you compensate by pulling in
