I have a confession to make, I did not discover "The Boss" until his Live in Dublin record, which was fantastic, once I've heard the material on that album it was like I was reborned. Instantly ran to the stores to pick up all his albums and live DVD's I could possibly find and, honestly, my life never been been the same. I've listened to Springsteen and only Springsteen ever since... You know it's something special when you can say this man's music has truly made you a better person.

You are so right. This is exactly what I feel since i saw him the first time in 1980. Since then in more than 30 concerts, and still he and the band are touching me so deep. And it`s not only the wonderfull, powerfull, wow... performance, it`s also the message, which is often missunderstood, especially in some stupid minds. Springsteen is so great, unique. I saw two shows on the current (2009) tour - Atlanta on April 26 and Greensboro on May 2, and he played "Sunny Day," at both shows, and although both performances were great, I thought they detracted from the intensity of what were high energy Rock shows from start to finish. Unlike the old days, there are no stories and few ballads.

It's song, song, song, with few pauses, for close to three hours. Impossible though it may seem, I think the current shows are better than anything earlier..
