I am the ballet dancer that starts on the right with my leg up on the barre. I had sooo much fun doing this xxxx Check out my music vids, album coming soon xxx
You can definitely see that this was completely out of Ed Byrne's comfort zone, and yet, he went for it! Good on you for doing this Ed! You won't be winning any Tony's for dancing, but it was a fantastic effort for a good cause.
You know what? I've just watched this again and I take it all back. I must've been in a really bad mood when I first watched this, because it's not excrutiating at all- it's a giggle. Everything Ed Byrne ever does is hilarious. :-)
Seriously, why do otherwise brilliant stand-ups lower themselves to this kind of shit? The "Oh, but it's for charity!" reasoning doesn't hold: Ed is a great, great stand-up, and so he already has an act that he can do for charity- and without compromising his integrity along the way. There's nothing funny about this at all. It's excrutiating to watch.
@Hels38Perry celebrities making fools of themselves to help poor starving dying kids in africa is what comic relief is all about, what is wrong with you?
@brumster01 (I apologise for the second post but I did not have enough characters remaining for my third point) The fact that you call yourself British makes me feel physically sick not only for the aforementioned reasons but also because of your poor grammar, such negligence for the language that is both universal and your supposed mother-tongue could not have been taught. You clearly care not for anything or anyone but yourself.
You have no right to comment on this video you traitorous fool
I am ashamed to call myself British too, but that is because I am not British. There is only a small minority that can call themselves British, the select few who have English, Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish blood in them. The rest of us are not "British" you moron.
Then there's the main question that has been missed: "why watch the video if you disagree with comic relief so much?"
@irishdan2007 I said the British Humour Rocks. What is the point in me going: English, Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish humour rocks. But Irish republic humour rocks too! WTH!
@RandomObsessiveGirl Actually she's there playing Julie Walter's role in Billy Elliot. She's the dance teacher and he's Billy. The two of them dance a routine to I Love To Boogie.

ahhh comic relief is here, BBC making millions for the government, and building a shit building and a water pump in some African village that gets shot up at by there own people,so glad i don't live in the UK these days,i was and still am ashamed to call myself British.
It does not go to the government it goes to help make a difference in Africa.
So don't sit there and criticize them for trying to do something and to be honest for saying that you should be ashamed you exist. Go out and get hit by a bus you FUCKING CUNT!!!!!!!!!!
@drwhofreak08 I wouldn't expect people to know that the government gets a cut,you honestly think they would just let all that money go away tax free? your just as gullible as the rest, and these places in africa need to sort there own problems out, send money isn't the answer, building a water pump isn't the answer either, that would just get taken over by a rebel group and it does, its a fact, and also why are they fleecing us for money? when 50million gets spent on a football player? why come to us
@brumster01 Obviously not all the money can go to the charity but it wasn't set up for the government for any political intentions or anything, and even if it was it still raises a lot of money that goes to help people and only an idiot or someone ignornant to the issues would think that that was a bad thing
@brumster01 Have you actually looked at what groups like Water Aid do in third world countries? Have you been out there to see what's being done? Have you seen the water pumps? Because I have, and they certainly haven't been "taken over by rebel groups". By stating "it's a fact" does not by any stretch of the imagination make it a fact you know. Nobody is forcing you to contribute, but leave those who do want to alone and keep your paranoia to yourself.
@brumster01 Yeh, providing those in poverty with the means to sustain themselves. What a SHAMEFUL thing to do. You are totally right. Only a complete sociopath would think that charity was a good thing. In fact, I think we should just kill everyone.
@chloeleigh16 Thank you so much. She loves dancing but singing is her passion. See her on Reverbnation - just type in Chelsie Austen. Great if you could add yourself as a fan. Thank you soooo much xx
I don't know how this came up on my computer but it is sheer joy. There is nothing better than watching people doing things like this - it's like dressing up in funny clothes and going in a parade. It's the better side of humans. And the I love to Boogie
song makes watching Billy Elliott over and over and over - wonderful.
My 12 year old daughter has had a fantastic day dancing with Ed Byre today. She is the little one with her leg up on the bar at the beginning and holding Ed's hand in the tutu line up! I know this is beside the point, and I should be commenting on the performance, but I can't get past the fact that it should be "I Love to Boogie" not "I Like to Boogie". Silly BBC. But there's still that niggling 1% persistent on going "YOOZ WRONG DIPSHIT! DA BBC IZ ALWAYS RIGHT, OBEY DEM! THEY IZ GODDD,INNIT?!!"- Yes. My brain is a chav.
