I'd just be pleased without religion, particularly western religion and all its poor morals and faith obsession. From there I could care less whether somebody is an atheist or believes in some less dogmatic interpretation of a God.

On facebook there is currently a hoax scam showing a photo of a dying baby and asking for donations. What I find fascinating are the comments. Those familiar with such scams post expressing their disgust, those with an inkling of common sense post expressing concerns to its validity, some express sorrow, but a great number pledge to pray for the child and inquire about how they can donate.
It clearly demonstrates a direct correlation between gullibility and blind acceptance without question.

Atheism does have a few disadvantages.
A brake down of the family structure. The riots in the UK is an example of what happens when religion becomes obsolete. People lose the sense of knowing the difference between right and wrong

@Nuron666 Atheists know the difference between right and wrong, that is one of the reason we can't accept the Christian version of heaven and hell, where everyone is guilty to eternal torture unless they are buddy with the boss son, and we don't find it moral to kill a child for something it's parents did and so on.
You should try to think about it from a view outside the box you live in.
