  • Hi, this is one of the scientists in this video. @wyattx008 and @strydomMartin... actually what is done here is to take the leaf tissue and grow it on specific media i designed and induce it to produce undifferentiated cells, clusters called callus. The cells from the callus can EACH then be placed on other media and induced to grow into any part of the plant, root, stem, leaf, corolla, etc. The callus can be used in any biotech research suitable. It is like making a blank starting point.
