  • Hello My Friend ~ Enjoying many of your uploads. I do have a request off of this same album of John's. It's the track called "Down To Me" which I have always loved. It cannot be found on YouTube as of yet. Thank you so much for the great music. ~oO(♪)Oo~

  • one of his best to bad the drinking was to much for him to conquer there is no counting what it cost in loss of longevity of his reign at the top

  • You have to hear this song by Linda Davis. Amazing!!!!

  • lol....In my 37 years of living....Broken bones, huge laserations, torn ligaments, etc.....No pain in those 37 years hurt as badly as those years after you......

  • i dont think that musicphan and anasbendaif know real country and they dont know what they are talking about they both should stay in the city

  • @MrDcisco Real country is Hank Sr., Bob Willis, Buck Owens, Merle Haggard, Marty Robbins, Buddy Holly, George Strait, Alan Jackson, Wayne Hancock, BR-549, Wanda Jackson, Emmy Lou Harris, some Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Zac Brown Band, some Vince Gill, Jamie Johnson and all those traditional sounding groups. It's bad enough that he sings like shit, but you have all your crap drowned in strings and keyboards, you ain't real country. Oh, I grew up in the country and still live close to it.

  • @musicphan1 zac brown new is

  • But forever is nothing compared to some nights I've been through - God knows that's true!

  • Hadn't heard this original version before. Love Eddie Rabbitt's version. Great emotional feel. John should be proud of it.

  • This music is for the people who love real country music, so to musicphan1, I suggest you go see your proctologist, you failed miserably by sticking your head up your ass to give yourself a rectal exam. If you dont like this music, dont listen to it.

  • great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! song

  • Legend on Country? No, Legind of Redpawp! Ugh! This is NOT real country! It's GDMF elevator music for hicks. This is bad singing tone and horrid songwriting/arranging! Get the phuqin' keyboards out and put in more fiddle and steel guitar!

  • @musicphan1 Whether you call it real country or gangster rap it's still a good song.

  • God i miss the 80's and He is Famous

  • I relate to this song-with a broken heart that cannot mend-what a wonderful song writer!!!!love you John

  • i don"t believe this singer isn't famous that"s bullshit :(

  • What an excellent song! Nice to hear it again after all these year and many miles.

  • I wish John would do a show in Western NY. Would love to see him in concert. Heck, would love to see new music from John!

  • I saw John back in July of lasy year. I am 17 now, but was 16 at the time. My girlfriend of one year had just broken up with me and had a tremendous amount of heartache over it. I am young but I know I loved her and still do. When I went to see John, I was able to personally tell him how much this song means to me after he played that evening. I will never forget it.

  • @RecycleTheRandommm married 30 years and song still hits me hard

  • OMG!!!!!!! I HAVEN'T HEARD THIS SONG IN FOREVER

PEOPLE WILL WONDER ONCE THEY HEAR THAT I LIKE THIS KIND OF MUSIC

  • Love this song...

  • My wife died 12 years ago after a long battle with breast cancer and I have always loved this song. I didn't know way back that this song would be the description of my own feelings years after her. God Bless You Baby, I still miss you every day I wake up.

  • John hit #2 in Billboard, 1-19-85. God bless!

  • I was always taught that variety is the spice of life. I love many kinds of music. This song is heart wrenching. It's a beautiful song. If any of you like R&B check out Doin` Just Fine by Boyz II Men. It has the same affect on me this song does.

  • John Conlee and Vern Gosdin were 2 of the most under appreciated singers in history of music I am ashamed they have not given the recognition they deserve.

  • @55terriblegasser

oh so true what u feel, am having goose bumps in reaction to wat u said, such deep singers, and surely Legends of Country. shake hands fr the comon feel.

    sandeep
