I never really got much acne throughout my life...but now that I am in my early 20's I am breaking out more and more. I am so stressed and frustrated because nothing I try seems to work. Acne kits irritate my skin and natural treatments work...then another blemish pops up. I have no idea what to do it really sucks!!! :( I have sensite and combination skin in case any one is wondering.
Lucky you have a great dermatologist!!! My dermatologist absolutely sucks and just cares about the money!!!! He didn't even take a good look at my face and just recommended whatever. The wait is like an hour and he's only with you for like 5 min!!!!!
cetaphil is awesome awesome!! i cleanse my face twice a day, but my skin is really oily, and cetaphil isnt strong enough to get rid of those oils, so i wash two times with cetaphil everytime i wash my face. it doesnt dries out your skin at all.
After all my years with acne this helped clear it (I mean severe) after using all products including proactive! Use clean clean 3 in 1 exfoliating cleanser then biore pore unclogging scrub everyday and night, everyother day use acne free sulfur mask, at night put on retinol product I use garnier ultra lift wrinkle cream. I use dinair airbrush makeup best ever and helps skin! No soda and clear skin you will have I swear!
shes buying to much stuff. The mint julep mask you don't need it actually can clog up your pores a little. But it does feel refreshing and its cheap. Cetaphil is a crappy cleanser get the st ives cleanser it cleans your face better and you will get less acne.
what is she talking about. A wipe is the same thing as washing your face. haha. She is just a dry skin person this doesn't work well for oily skin people. Way to much moisturizer is not good. just get any sort of benzoyl peroxide at the store, a sun block moisturizer but put it on very lightly and get a pil from doctor minicyclin is the best. And just take that everyday you will get rid of most your acne. Also buy a face wash like st ives face wash. And thats all you need.
Ok that helped but I really recommend freederm gel i swear by it I'm being a bridesmaid in 6 weeks and my spots have cleared up soo good it's a god send :D
please nobody use steivamicin!!!!!!!! it has scarred my face and now i am looking into getting some type of treatment for scarring... it pretty much burns your face and should not be available even through prescription!
@landth78 that is horrible! i feel bad for you try cetaphil! i herd it works go look in walmart and like sneak it in the cart or someting if your parents wont buy it
thanks so much for all this, i currently see a dermatologist. my skin has improved so much (two courses of accutane, retin-a), but i still look for answers to make it better. I will definitely try and get into differin :)
hahaha i love how i'm wearing that mint julep mask stuff on my face as im watching that video:) lol. but what i did to clear up my face, this took about a month... then i started slowly going off of everything... but every night i washed my face with the l'oriel "go 360 clean". then i would use my neutrogena astringent. then to my clean & clear spot treatment. then like 2 times a week i would use that mint mask stuff. now all i do at night is wash my face with the l'oriel stuff
@itshardcoreamanda yes i think it would work very well for you, except i don't think you need the 2 prescription products, because those are for more severe acne. the Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque would work wonders for you! :)
a good way too stop acne from preventing is not to wear your foundation and other products too deeply into your skin.
